IT'S all about the Scottish Premiership for me on Saturday as I look to Hibs and Hearts to get February off to a wining start.
The Transfer window closed at midnight in Scotland on Friday night and there was plenty of late wheeling's and dealings as clubs desperately tried to bolster their squads before the window closed.
One club who will be happy with their work will be Hibs Boss Jack Ross whio has brought in Marc McNulty, Paul McGinn and Greg Docherty, three terrific singings.
Hibs are my NAP on Saturday to score 2 goals and I'm also on Hearts Double Chance and Over 1.5 Match Goals as they visit St Johnstone.
Will be no surprise to learn I'm also backing National League South side Billericay at home again for goals.
You can listen to my thoughts and tips on all of the above matches on this weeks Gambla Betting Podcast.
Hibernian vs St Mirren (3pm)
Terrific in attack but often dreadful defensively – that's a fair assessment of Hibernians season so far. Yet again they conceded 2 goals at Easter Road on Tuesday for the 9th time in 13 home games.
That's a shocking statistic and it doesn't look like improving any time soon. Luckily for Hibs in attack they have been fantastic and certainly have no trouble scoring goals.
They've scored at least 2 goals in 8 of their last 9 games at home which is some going and with Doidge on 13 goals, supported by Allen, Boyle, Horgan anD McNulty, they look a terrify price to find the net twice again tomorrow against a St Mirren side who have only won 4 of their last 26 trips to Leith and are struggling down the bottom end of the table.
Hibs are as big as 10/11 to win the match which also looks appealing buts it's Hibs goals I'm going for again.
Recommended Bet:
- Hibs over 1.5 team goals
- 100/101 (Marathonbet) (NAP)
St Johnstone vs Hearts (3pm)
Hearts boss Daniel Stendal is starting to put his footprint on his Hearts side and he has certainly got the Tyncastle faithful on his side after last Sundays brilliant 2-1 win at home to Hearts.
Liam Boyce is a tremendous signing for the Jambo's and with key man back from injury, including new club captain Steven Naismith, things are looking much brighter.
Since the winter break, they've beaten Airdrie 5-0, drew away at Ross County and beat Rangers and I fancy them to avoid defeat in Perth against a St Johnstone side who will be relieved to have only suffered a 3-0 defeat against Celtic on Wednesday.
St Johnstone have improved a fair bit over the last few months but there is momentum with Hearts at the moment and with St Johnstone having the worst defensive record in the league, they'll do well to keep a clean sheet.
Recommended Bet:
- Hearts Double Chance / Over 1.5 match goals
- 6/5 (Bet365 Bet Builder) (NB)
Billericay vs Maidstone (KO3pm)
There has been 42 goals in Billericay's last 9 matches and with their last 3 ending 2-2 3-3 4-4, there's a good chance we'll see goals again today.
They've been a great side to back recently and have put in some really good performances against the leagues better sides over the last few weeks.
Recommended Bet:
- Over 3.0 goals (Asian goal line)
- 1/1 (Bet365)
- Over 1.5 second half goals
- 8/11 (Bet365)
English League Two Goals – 12 Matches
Was a whisker way from two bumper winners on Tuesday night with the first half goals and 1.5 match goals specials in League Two, worth some loose change again at huge odds.
Total goals did land and its worth taking the 31+ goals to be scored again at 4/5
- 31+goals to be scored 1/1
- All 12 matches first half goal 66/1
- All 12 matches over 1.5 goals 28/1

2/1 St Johnstone to beat Hearts is an insult irrespective of whether Hearts actually avoid defeat. As for making a footprint he couldn’t lace Tommy Wright’s shoes.
