GregsGoalsTips 1

IT'S a full Scottish Premiership card this midweek with 5 games being played on Wednesday but Tuesday sees Aberdeen travel to Hamilton in what is a crucial match  for both sides.

There's also a full card of matches from the English league and one bet I love the look of is Sky Bet's featured matches goals total.

Hamilton Accies vs Aberdeen (7.45pm)

The year is 2078 and its been 58 years since Aberdeen last scored a goal, well okay that may be a slight exaggeration but my word has it has been a truly miserable 2020 for Aberdeen fans.

Played 6 and scored one paltry goal and even that was a 86th-minute penalty against part-time Dumbarton. One goal in 540 mins is a shambolic return for the shot-shy Dons who are now without a goal in their last 5 matches.

Three 0-0s and two 1-0 defeats has seen the pressure heap on boss Derek McInnes but they have an excellent opportunity to 1), actually score a goal and 2), get a much-needed 3 points at relegation-threatened Hamilton.

The goals have dried up for Sam Cosgrove  – the big Englishman had been in terrific scoring form over the last 12 months buts it's just not happening for him at the moment.

Aberdeen's problem is they just don't seem to have that spark in midfield despite a fairly productive January transfer window. It would be unthinkable for them to go 6 games without scoring especially at struggling Accies.

Hamilton have kept one clean sheet in their last 17 matches and I would be stunned if they managed one tonight (even against the Dons). Nineteen points separate these two and the Dons have more quality in their squad, I fancy Aberdeen to get the much needed three points and relieve a bit of the pressure on McInnes.

They are unbeaten in their last 4 trips to Hamilton (3 wins and a draw) and I can't stress how big this game is for Aberdeen. Appreciate its hard to have confidence in a team without a win or goal in 5 but they are a better side than Hamilton. They should be backed to collect three points.

Recommended Bet:

  • Aberdeen to win
  • 4/5 (Betfred) (NAP) (NB)

Sky Bet Featured Matches Goals Total (6 matches)

Couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the matches 6 Sky Bet are featuring in their match markets – I was even more surprised when I saw the goals total line was as high as 5/6 for 18+ goals.

  • Sunderland vs Rochdale
  • Doncaster vs Bolton
  • Peterborough vs Southend
  • Swansea vs QPR
  • Nottingham Forest vs Charlton
  • Famalicao vs Benfica

It's quite an incredible set of fixtures, 5 English matches with 5 strong fancied home sides against sides all struggling at the bottom end of the table.

Peterborough are absolutely flying and are the league's top goal scorers, 16 goals scored in their last 5 games and they host struggling Southend.

Doncaster host a Bolton side who have had some proper hidings on the road this season.

Benfica have seen 24 goals in their last 6 and the Portuguese league leaders should see goals in their cup match at Famalicao.

A very good chance of us hitting 18+ goals here.

Recommended Bets:

  • 18+ goals to be scored
  • 5/6 (Skybet)
  • 20+ goals to be scored
  • 15/8 (Skybet)

I wouldn't put anyone off taking first-half goals and over 1.5 match goals in League One and Two at massive odds, been really unlucky  recently with these bets, small stakes big returns.

Dons were a wee bit better against Killie on Saturday than they were against your lot.
Agree that they should win tomorrow night but odds on aways have never interested me much.
Have went for an any three and all four overs perm on matches @ Barnsley, Wycombe, Crewe & Northampton instead.
Good luck to us both and COYR😁

Yeah plenty of the ball mate but no penetration -agreed, would have liked 10/11 or evens but the bookies aren’t daft, Hamilton aren’t great and there 19 points between the sides.

I can’t back the Dons although I get what you’re saying.
Thought Accies played well against Celtic until the red card and they again pushed Rangers hard.
David Templeton can give them a spark but as you say Aberdeen have to score eventually.

Both, the unrest up here will go into overdrive if Hamilton win.
Something is not right, which you would have thought a new training ground and a trip to Dubai would have affected in some sort of positive way.
The fact is that Dons have been in regression since 2017 cup final.
Yes we are safely in top six but fans want to be entertained, and that hasn’t happened much this season in particular.

It’s difficult to be anything but third best in Scotland so McInnes has done OK but something wrong when a team with good quailty going forward can’t score in five games. It might need a change of manager to improve the atmosphere.

Would agree, which may happen at the end of season.
However negative results over the next three matches may force Cormack to make an earlier decision.
Also agree that third is best that can, realistically, be expected. But it would be great to be entertained by a side with a bit more fight (as produced in the 2017 cup final).

As a fan you always want to be entertained and have a cup run if you can’t win the league.

I’m going to tread carefully with this weeks fixtures.A weather check is advised for most Uk games all week and into the weekend as theses storms/high winds are going nowhere and will affect the flow of the games.

There is that elusive goal Mr B.

No goal in 5 games and then ships one in the net inside 15 mins. 👍

23 mins early payout from 365.

    Cheers Mr Browning.

    Rogers out.

Wow that first half couldn’t have gone much worse for the featured match goals. Only Sunderland doing the business need a crazy 2nd half to even get close

Yeah, Peterborough the main let downs

Lol if only the other 2nd half’s had as many goals
