ABERDEEN can pile on the misery to Dundee United in a Saturday night showdown at Tannadice.
The Dons romped to an easy win last week against Kilmarnock and now face bottom dogs United in what used to be called the New Firm derby.
Jim Goodwin's men will be back by 4,000 of their fans and they will need them because Aberdeen's Achilles heel has been their form on the road. Their win at St Johnstone earlier this season was only their second league victory away from Pittodrie since a victory at the same venue last December.
But they have attacking options galore in this team with Bojan Miovski with eight goals in ten games and plenty of support behind him – Vicente Besuijen has chipped in with six goals too.
United's recent woes have been well documented and the appointment of Liam Fox went down like a lead balloon with their unhappy support.
They seem to be suffering from a crisis of confidence and the 11/10 looks a fair price for an away win.
MONTROSE got off to a sluggish start this season, but they have turned the corner and can beat the Bully Wee with a win at Clyde.
Stewart Petrie's side were shock promotion contenders last season and they look to consolidate that this term too.
An excellent midweek win over Airdrie showed what they can do and they also defeated Clyde recently at Links Park. They've also beaten Kelty Hearts and Peterhead recently.
Homeless Clyde are in trouble after five defeats in a row in the league. A goalless draw against Welsh team Caernarfon in the Challenge Cup wouldn't have improved morale either.
They have failed to score in three of those games and the Angus side can add to their gloom with a win at 5/4.
STENHOUSEMUIR are in good form and they can beat struggling Annan Athletic at Ochilview.
Annan were tipped to enjoy another good season and held Aberdeen to a 1-1 draw in 90 minutes in the League Cup, but they've been a shadow of their selves last season in the league.
They've won just one of their last nine games in all competitions and were thumped 5-1 at Eglin City last week.
Stenny are going great guns and have won four of their last five games – three of which even came away from home.
Matt Yates and Thomas Orr have been in great form and they look a solid call at 6/5.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
ABERDEEN 11/10
MONTROSE 5/4
STENHOUSEMUIR 6/5
🤞🏼
