THERE could be a few shocks in the Scottish Cup this weekend – if matches beat the big freeze.
The lower-league card was decimated last weekend and it could be a similar story today after temperatures plummeted across Scotland.
Dundee’s clash with Bonnyrigg Rose should make it thanks to the undersoil heating at Dens and you have to fancy the in-form Dark Blues.
I cashed in by backing goals in their top-of-the-table clash with Hearts last weekend and there should be a few again when the Lowland side come calling.
Over 3.5 strikes pays evens at McBookie while Danny Mullen looks decent value at 11/10 for anytime scorer after netting against the Jambos.
Dunfermline’s all-Championship tie with Morton could be a cracker and I’m backing both teams to score (4/7, McBookie) as it has come up in eight of the last nine games involving the Pars.
But it’s not great value so I’m going to double it with BTTS in Kelty’s intriguing clash with Stranraer (8/15, McBookie).
Despite riding high in League Two and going unbeaten in 10, the Blues are 9/5 with McBookie to beat the Lowland League champions, who are 23/20.
League One leaders Falkirk have gone three without a win but will still fancy their chances away to Championship strugglers Arbroath. I can see it being tight and under 2.5 goals pays 11/10.
Cove Rangers will also fancy their chances away to an Alloa side sitting second bottom of the second tier. Paul Hartley’s League One high fliers are 17/10 with McBookie for a win.
Super Single
Dundee’s Danny Mullen anytime scorer (11/10, McBookie).
BTTS Double
Morton v Dunfermline & Kelty v Stranraer (141/100, McBookie)
