SCHALKE are in the thick of the scrap for Bundesliga runners-up spot and can pick up a vital three points today.
The Royal Blues ended a three-game winless run with victory at Stuttgart last week and will be looking to follow up by beating third-bottom Werder Bremen.
Schalke have won five of their 10 home outings this season and their sole defeat in 17 on their own patch came against all-conquering Bayern Munich.
Bremen haven't won in five and have lost four of their their last five away trips so I'm taking the hosts to edge it at 83-100 with Marathonbet.
Champs Bayern have won seven on the spin and can make it eight at leaky Mainz who have just one win in eight, conceding 2+ in all of them. Bayern's last five trips to Mainz have seen them win with at least a couple of goals and same again is 40-85 at Betstars.
Also in the Bundesliga, Wolfsburg face fellow strugglers Stuttgart who have new manager Tayfun Korkut taking charge for the first time since replacing Hannes Wolf.
Wolfsburg's win at Hannover last week was their first in six but they'll be smelling blood at home to a Stuttgart side who boast just one point from a possible 30 on the road. The safer option of Wolfsburg draw no bet pays 6-10 at Betstars.
And finally, Nice are going for a fifth straight home win in Ligue 1 when Toulouse hit the south coast. Toulouse have lost six successive away games – and mustered just one win in their last 15 on the road.
Nice should win but are missing suspended top scorer Mario Balotelli and I'm on the hosts draw no bet at 4-11 with Ladbrokes.
