Ange Postecoglou survived the international break at Nottingham Forest but another defeat against Chelsea today would pile more pressure on the Australian.

It looked like trigger-happy chairman Evangelos Marinakis might use the two-week hiatus to bin Postecoglou, with fans up in arms after his first seven games failed to deliver a single win.

The former Spurs and Celtic boss remains in place for now but his task doesn't get any easier, with tonight's clash against the Blues followed by a Europa League visit from Porto.

Nottingham Forest vs Chelsea top betting tips

Chelsea's form has been flaky so far this season but they headed into the break on a high after beating Benfica and Liverpool at Stamford Bridge.

With Forest in such low spirits, I fancy Enzo Maresca's side to keep their revival on track and their odds are decent at 20/21. Adding on over 1.5 goals boosts that price to 13/10 at BoyleSports.

Postecoglou's side have picked up three or more yellow cards in each of their last three games. With Forest desperate for the points in this match, it could pay to back them for over 2.5 cards at 6/5 with BoyleSports.

Manchester City vs Everton

Manchester City have fired themselves back into the title reckoning and will be looking to build more momentum with a home win over Everton.

It looked like the fallen champions were in for another disappointing season when they lost two of the first three Premier League games.

But Pep Guardiola's men have since gone seven games unbeaten – and they would have won all those matches had they not conceded last-gasp levellers to Arsenal and Monaco.

Everton have made a strong start to the season, with City loanee Jack Grealish lighting up their new stadium.

He can't face his parent club today and BoyleSports make the Toffees 13/2 outsiders without him.

David Moyes' men will still be hard to break down and a City win with under 3.5 goals looks worth a punt at 21/20 with BoyleSports.

Everton may try to knock Guardiola's men off their stride so backing them for over 2.5 cards appeals at 13/10 .

Fulham vs Arsenal

Arsenal have taken advantage of Liverpool's slump in form to move a point ahead of the champions at the top.

Mikel Arteta will be thrilled to see his side sitting at the summit, with the Gunners handed some tough fixtures in the first few months of the campaign.

They now have a kinder run of games, starting with a trip to Craven Cottage this evening.

But Fulham still posses plenty of quality in attack so I like the 20/21 on offer at BoyleSports for BTTS.

Calvin Bassey should have a good battle with Gunners striker Viktor Gyokeres and backing both players to commit a foul pays 5/4 at Bet365.

Rangers vs Dundee United

Rangers finally put Russell Martin out of his misery just before the international break after a 1-1 draw at Falkirk left them 12 points off the Premiership title pace.

Kevin Muscat will replace him at the helm but he won't be available for another month as he finishes the Chinese season with Shanghai Port.

Youth coach Steven Smith will take charge of the team today, with Neil McCann then set to take the reins before joining Muscat's staff.

Just having Martin out of the picture should lead to an upturn in results as Ibrox became toxic during the final few weeks of his reign.

Rangers should get back on track with a win over United and backing them to be winning at half-time and full-time pays 21/20 at BoyleSports.
