BOTH matches in the Six Nations threw up surprises yesterday – one huge and one small.

Italy's defeat of France in Rome was wholly unexpected while Wales edged out slight pre-match favourites Ireland in Cardiff.

So what are the chances of a third weekend shock when Scotland pitch up at Twickenham for the annual Calcutta Cup battle?

Pretty slim would be the answer as the rock-bottom Scots, now Wooden Spoon favourites, try to stop England on their charge to the championship, Triple Crown and Grand Slam.

The Scots don't need any motivation for the battle with the Auld Enemy but after sorry defeats to France, Wales and Ireland it's difficult to see them managing anything other than a convincing loss.

England are unbackable at a biggest 1-12 with Blue Square and William Hill while the Scots are 10-1 at Paddy Power.

If the likes of Chris Ashton are in the mood England should cover the handicap. They are evens with bet365 and Chandler minus 16 points with the Scots the same price plus 16.

Ashton is famous for his swallow dive try celebrations but William Hill are offering 12-1 a Scot copies his party-piece.

It would really rub it into his smug face if someone did it right in front of him but Scotland have to actually score a try first.

Any England star other than Ashton to celebrate that way pays 16-1.

Ashton himself is just 6-5 to score a try and celebrate with a swallow dive.
