IT was Ross Barkley who sealed the Super Single success with his free-kick winner for Everton Sunday and I'm putting some of my winnings on the youngster to be on England's plane to Brazil.
After a super show against Swansea he's been cut to 4-5 with Ladbrokes to make the World Cup squad and Roy Hodgson would be mad to leave him at home.
Ladbrokes spokesman Alex Donohue said: “After another impressive performance we now believe Barkley will go to Brazil. Sadly for Everton fans his odds of leaving the club also look set to shorten in line with his World Cup price.”
Barkley is 4-1 to leave Everton before the start of next season but he'll do well to stay and keep learning under Roberto Martinez.
Everton have been cut to 33-1 to win the title this season while a top-four spot is 3-1. Top six is more likely but they're currently making a good fist of fit.

4/5 to make the trip to rio is great odds. I think he’s guarenteed a place even if he doesn’t play. I would be backing that except I don’t like to bet on something where the returns have to be waited on for months
K, I know what you’re saying but it could be pay your own trip to Rio in the summer. The one thing that has to pointed out though is while a fit Barkley is a shoe-in you don’t get refunded if he is injured.
What a shame it would be if he left Everton before the start of next season. Martinez has given him his chance to play regular first team fooball unlike David M
Cont…..
David Moyes who would never give him a game. The lad has grown in confidence and his skills are really quite special. So Ross stay with Everton and help them fullfill your goal to play in the Champions League
he will switch to liverpool next season,is word on grapevine.

Yes Everton are hanging in there but Newcastle too seem to have turned corner its most open league in years.
I see plenty of odds for the big names to make the England squad but cant seem to find odds for same players not to make squad. steven gerrard for example at silly odds on to make the squad but I am looking for odds on him not to make it.. can you help mrfixit ?
beetee, not looking today, if I see anything later in the week I’ll post a comment.
hi mrF. am still trying to find a price on numerous sites but no luck yet. Gerrard not to make the england squad
Will Hughes was 33-1 a few games back to make the WC squad, not sure what he is now. You might think he’s got next to no chance, but IF he’s sold in january which everyone is expecting and he winds up in a good premiership side which again is expected, you’ll see his odds slashed overnight. Theo walcott made the WC side a few years back, yet he’d not kicked a ball once coz he wasn’t picked at club level. Might be worth a cheeky tenner.
I got 2/1 on him in William hill straight after his performance at the emirates , looking good now .
