Stoke City’s build-up to Tuesday’s clash has been erratic as they have just two wins in their last six matches across all competitions. Alex Neil’s men have suffered three defeats in that run and were beaten 1-0 by Millwall in a Championship fixture last Saturday.
One thing that will give Stoke City some hope ahead of Tuesday’s clash is their recent record at home. The defeat to Millwall was their first in five matches having claimed three wins in that run.
Having stumbled slightly in the Premier League in recent weeks, the FA Cup will be a welcome distraction for Brighton & Hove Albion. They are winless in their last two matches and will view Tuesday’s clash as a chance to build some confidence and get things back on track.
