Sevilla have made another poor start in La Liga and they'll be desperate to get three more points on the board when promoted Elche come calling.
Last season was a traumatic one for the fallen giants as they finished 17th in the table and only ended up dodging the drop by a point.
That continued a downward spiral, with Sevilla 12th and 14th in the two seasons before that after being a top-four side for three successive campaigns.
Argentine Matias Almeyda has now taken charge but his reign hasn't got off to the best of starts, with just three points banked from their first three games.
Elche have fared much better and are unbeaten so far, with a bit of momentum behind them after winning promotion.
Draws with Real Betis and Atletico Madrid got them off to a great start and they followed it up by beating Levante before the international break. So they will fancy their chances of keeping the ball rolling when they head to Seville.
How the bookies view it: Sevilla's home comfort
Despite their poor start, Sevilla are BoyleSports' evens favourites for this one with home advantage. Elche are 3/1 for the win while the draw pays 9/4.
Recent head to head: Elche up against it
These sides have faced off just 10 times before and it's Sevilla who have dominated, losing just once. They have won all five of the meetings at home, including a 3-0 triumph on Elce's last visit in 2023.
Players to watch: Mir we go
Rafa Mir only scored twice last season for Valencia but has already matched that tally after just three games for new club Elche. His confidence will be high and he's 11/4 for another goal here at BoyleSports.
Isaac Romero grabbed one of Sevilla's goals in their morale-boosting 2-0 win over Girona before the international break. He'll be looking to pick up where he left off and is 7/4 for anytime scorer.
Probable line-ups
Sevilla still have a number of injury issues, with Chidera Ejuke, Djibril Sow, Akor Adams, Andan Januzaj, Joan Jordan, Ramon Martinez and Tanguy Nianzou all doubtful.
Elche have a much cleaner bill of health and only long-term absentee Yago Santiago looks set to miss out.
Sevilla: Nyland, Carmona, Salas, Castrin, Gudelj, Suazo, Gonzalez, Agoume, Ejuke, Romero, Vargas.
Elche: Dituro, Bigas, Affengruber, Chust, Aguado, Valera, Febas, A Nunez, Mendoza, Mir, Rodriguez.
Anything else catch the eye?
Both these sides have scored in all three of their La Liga games so it bodes well for an entertaining game. BTTS looks decent value at 20/23 with BoyleSports and adding on over 2.5 goals takes you to a tasty 8/5.
Games can often take time to warm up after an international break so there could be some value in backing most goals to come in the second half at 21/20.
Sevilla striker Romero had a big disciplinary problem last season, picking up 10 yellows and one red. He has stayed out of trouble so far this term but could be worth a punt for a card here once that market is priced up.
Bet365 do have prices for fouls and Romero's 4/5 to commit over 1.5 fouls.
