ABERDEEN are absolutely flying under Jimmy Thelin and the Dons are going for their own nine-in-a-row when they travel north on Saturday night to play at Ross County.
The Swede has enjoyed a remarkable start after his summer arrival and he's guided his new charges to wins in all five of their Premier Sports Cup games and three of their league matches.
Now you have to be realistic about this – all the Cup games were against lower league opposition and of the three sides they have faced, two of them were at home with both St Mirren and Kilmarnock returning from midweek European games.
However, Aberdeen have recruited well and there's no doubt the players have bought into his revolution.
A win in Dingwall would be the first time any Aberdeen team have gone on such a lengthy winning streak since the halcyon days of plain old Alex Ferguson then in 1983.
They face a County side who must have had the stuffing knocked out of them recently after a decent start.
The Staggies went down to a shock defeat at League Two Spartans in the Cup and were then crushed 6-0 by Rangers at Hampden last week.
How the bookies view it: Dons being backed
Aberdeen started the week at 6/5, but that's long gone and it would come as no surprise if they go down to 4/5 or even less as the week goes on. However, currently you can still get a piece of 21/20 with Ladbrokes.
County are on the drift and are 13/5 with William Hill which will doubtless rise. The draw is 11/4 with McBookie.com.
Recent head to heads: Dons on top
Despite the Dons being awful last season, they still held the Indian sign on County with four wins out of five in the league and Cup.
The hosts have won just one of the last 11 meetings.
Players to watch
Ronan Hale has started the season well for the Staggies and came close to scoring last week at Hampden against Rangers. He is 5/2 to score anytime with bet365.
Kevin Nisbet is the man Aberdeen will hope to replace star man Bojan Miovski with. The on loan Millwall man is 13/8 to score anytime in the Highlands.
Predicted line-ups:
County are without injured duo Max Sheaf and Ricki Lamie.
Aberdeen are still without Leighton Clarkson and Dante Polvara. Duk continues to be absent without leave.
Ross County: Laidlaw, Brown, Nightingale, Leak, Harmon, Randall, Denholm, Loturi, Chilvers, Hale, White.
Aberdeen: Mitov, Devlin, Rubezid, Molloy, MacKenzie, Keskinen, Nilsen, Shinnie, McGrath, Nisbet, Gueye.
Anything else catch the eye?
It's very hard not to make a case for Aberdeen to continue their winning run and the advice would be to snap the price up as early as you can.
They were backed in hugely before kick off last week before the match against Killie and the money talked.
They look a decent, balanced unit with Sivert Heltne Nilsen anchoring the engine room and allowing Graeme Shinnie to roll back the years with his performances.
County suddenly look like they are leaking goals and the Dons have goals in them. Back over 2.5 goals and an away win at a nice 2/1 with William Hill.
Sivert Heltne Nilsen has already been booked twice for the Dons and the way the Norwegian plays, he'll collect plenty more. He is an enticing 9/2 to be carded with bet365.
