RB Leipzig are set to take on Eintracht Frankfurt on Sunday, 15 December in what is the biggest Bundesliga match of the weekend.
Both sides find themselves inside the top four as we approach the winter break but given Bayern Munich are racing ahead at the top of the table, neither of them can afford to lose this one.
A win for RB Leipzig could move them back up to second after a recent run of ropey results while a win for Frankfurt would ensure they stay as the closest challengers to Bayern.

RB Leipzig come into the match as the favourites with the bookies but their price would have been much shorter a few weeks ago when they were matching Bayern Munich's pace. BoyleSports have priced a win for RB Leipzig at 10/11 while a victory for Eintracht Frankfurt has been priced at 2/1. The draw, which suits nobody here, has been priced at 11/4.

The recent record between RB Leipzig and Eintracht Frankfurt suggests that the hosts should the more confident of the two teams ahead of Sunday as they have won three of the last five meetings, including a 3-0 win in the cup earlier this month. On the flip side, Eintracht Frankfurt won at the Red Bull Arena last season so can take plenty of encouragement from that performance.
Players to watch: Marmoush vs Sesko
This match will see two of the most highly rated players in the Bundesliga go head-to-head with Benjamin Sesko set to lead the RB Leipzig line and Omar Marmoush doing the same for Eintracht Frankfurt.
Based on this season alone, there is no competition between the two players as Marmoush is having the season of his career for Frankfurt. The Egyptian has scored 13 goals and provided seven assists in 13 Bundesliga appearances this season and is attracting attention from all corners of Europe.
Sesko, meanwhile, still hasn't got going this season but his talent is undeniable. The big Slovenian is still being tipped to make a big-money move to the Premier League in the summer but he will want to perform better in the second half of the season. He has just four league goals to his name this season but has scored in his last two domestic outings.

RB Leipzig's poor run of form can perhaps be put down to an injury list that continues to grow. They are without seven players due to injury on Sunday while Arthur Vermeeran will also miss out due to suspension. Eintracht Frankfurt are a lot healthier and have just two players – Marcel Wenig and Aurele Amenda – definitely out.
