RANGERS came through two of their toughest tests of the season with flying colours and have what looks like a penalty kick at home to Motherwell on Saturday.
Philippe Clement's men romped past Hearts 5-0 last weekend and battled back from a goal down at Kilmarnock to win 2-1 on their least favourite surface at Rugby Park.
That midweek win in Ayrshire could be absolutely pivotal to the title race and they have the chance to extend their lead on Celtic to five points, with the champions not playing until Sunday.
They must be carrying bags of confidence after that victory on Wednesday made it 11 wins on the spin.
They face a Motherwell side who are involved in a scrap to avoid the relegation play-offs, but did their cause no harm at all with a comeback win like Rangers in midweek also on an artificial pitch. They were a goal down at Livingston and came back to win 3-1.
Last week, they were denied a draw against Celtic at home in injury time for the second half this season and they caused the Hoops plenty of first half problems before being pegged back after the break.
How the bookies view it
Rangers are predictably short all over and at 2/11 with Coral, they will be the bedrock of many accas.
Motherwell are available at 18/1 with Coral too and the draw is 14/1 with Paddy Power.
Recent head to heads
Rangers won 2-0 in Lanarkshire and 1-0 at Ibrox so far this season and have won the last eight meetings between the teams.
Motherwell's last win at Ibrox came in the Premiership play-offs in 2015.
Players to watch
Mohammed Diomande has looked impressive since his loan move in January and netted against Hearts. He is 23/10 to score anytime with Coral.
Blair Spittal is Motherwell's most creative player and he netted a peach of a strike against Celtic last week and at Livingston in midweek. He has a respectable 11 goals for the season in all competitions and is 15/2 to increase that at Ibrox with UniBet.
Anything else catch the eye?
As Celtic proved in midweek with a 7-1 romp over Dundee, every goal between now and the end of the season in this title race is going to prove vital since it's far from impossible the league could come down to goal difference.
Therefore you have to fancy a Rangers team that looks particularly rampant at Ibrox can inflict some damage on a hard-working, but limited Well side.
Back over 3.5 goals and a Rangers win at Paddy Power at 5/4.
It's also hard to see Well scoring here and they haven't managed it against Rangers this season. Rangers are 37/40 to win to nil with BetVictor.
