RANGERS will look to bounce back from their agonising defeat to Celtic in the League Cup final last weekend as they welcome Dundee to Ibrox on Saturday afternoon.
Despite levelling the game twice in the second half, Rangers failed to hold on to their League Cup crown as they were beaten on penalties by bitter rivals Celtic after a 3-3 extra-time draw last weekend.
Despite the obvious disappointment and the frustration of a VAR ruling going against them, it was another positive performance from Phillipe Clement’s side, who had held Spurs to a 1-1 Europa League draw on the Thursday prior to the cup final.
The Gers have won three on the spin in the Scottish Premiership, while scoring 10 goals without reply. So their sole aim is to make it four straight league wins for the first time this season on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Dundee saw their three-match unbeaten run come to an end last time out, as they fell to a 2-0 defeat at Tynecastle against bottom-side Hearts.
The Dark Blues have struggled on their travels this campaign, winning just one of their opening eight Premiership road trips (W1, D3, L4), and travel to Govan having lost three of their past four.

Unsurprisingly, The Gers are clear favourites to make it eight wins from nine in the Premiership at home, as they are just 2/11 at BoyleSports to claim all three points.
Dundee are priced at a massive 11/1 to claim a first win at Ibrox since 2001, whilst the draw is trading at 11/2.

Czechia winger Vaclav Cerny has been in good form the last two or three months and has scored seven goals in his past seven appearances at Ibrox.
Dundee starlet Lyall Cameron has been in good goal-scoring form for Dundee the past few weeks, netting three goals in his last three appearances for the Dark Blues.

Rangers will likely still be without John Souttar, whilst Neraysho Kasanwirjo, Tom Lawrence and Rabbi Matondo remain out.
Dundee have had a two-week break, so the majority of the squad should be fresh. However, defender Joe Shaughnessy will likely still be out.

Rangers must overcome the disappointment of losing the League Cup final in agonising fashion last week, but I don’t think they could’ve hand-picked a better opponent to do so.
As already mentioned, the Teddy Bears have won each of their previous 18 meetings with the Dark Blues at Ibrox. And Dundee’s poor away league record and Rangers' near-perfect one on home turf (W7, D1, L0) only adds further justification to the bookies' stance.
Phillipe Clement’s men have scored 3+ goals in four of their past six matches, as well as in each of their previous three meetings with Dundee at Ibrox. That includes a 3-0 success in the League Cup in September, and a repeat here appeals.
