The Rangers fans will get their first glimpse of their new-look side as they welcome Belgian giants Club Brugge to Ibrox on Sunday afternoon in a pre-season friendly.
Rangers endured a miserable season last term, with The Teddy Bears finishing 17 points behind Celtic in the Scottish Premiership table and failing to win any of the two cups.
However, there seems to be a new sense of optimism in the Rangers' support, due to the new ownership under Andrew Cavenagh and 49ers Enterprises being confirmed at the end of May.
After a rigorous process, Ex-Southampton boss, Russell Martin, was chosen to be the new Rangers head coach in this new era for the club, and he only has under three weeks until the first leg of their Champions League qualifier against Panathinaikos.
Similarly to their hosts, Club Brugge failed to win the Belgian Pro League title as they finished three points behind champions Union Saint-Gilloise.
That second-placed finish means Nicky Hayen’s men enter the third round of qualifying in the Champions League, whilst Rangers enter a round earlier.
How the bookies view it: Gers slight favourites
Rangers have been made slight favourites from the bookmakers in this one, with Bet365 pricing them up at 13/10.
Club Brugge are marginally bigger to win, with Bet365 quoting them at 6/4, whilst the draw is 13/5.
Head to head: Great European memories for Gers
These two sides played in the inaugural Champions League season in 1992/93, a campaign in which Rangers were close to reaching the final.
It was a 1-1 draw when the two met in Belgium, before goals from Ian Durrant and a Scott Nisbet fluke gave 10-man Gers a 2-1 victory at Ibrox.
Players to watch: Rangers debut for Rothwell?
Rangers signed midfielder Joe Rothwell from Bournemouth during the week, and the new number six could be in line for his Rangers debut on Sunday.
Club Brugge captain Hans Vanaken is entering his 10th season at the club, and the Belgian international is always good for a goal, so he may be worth a play if he starts in Govan on Sunday.
Predicted line-ups:
Rangers have already made four new additions to their squad this summer, with Lyall Cameron, Max Aarons, Joe Rothwell and Emmanuel Fernandez all expected to get some minutes.
Club Brugge have also made a couple of new signings this summer, with Ludovit Reis and Nicolo Tresoldi arriving from Hamburg and Hannover 96, respectively.
As is often the case with these matches, starting line-ups are too hard to predict, with the likely rotation coupled with international players still not back in training.
Anything else catch the eye?
As is always the case, these types of matches are extremely tough to predict, with both teams using them to get minutes into players' legs.
Russell Martin likes to see his side play possession-based football, but with his players still getting used to his style of play, there could be numerous mistakes on the ball in midfield and defence, which could lead to an open game.
The safest way to play this is by backing Overs and team goals for either side, which I will update when prices are released sometime on Saturday.
