Both Tottenham and Newcastle will finish off their respective pre-season tours of Asia by facing off against each other at the Seoul World Cup Stadium in South Korea at Sunday lunchtime.
Tottenham arguably come into this clash in better shape, having remained unbeaten in four pre-season friendlies so far. Their last outing was a 1-0 win over Arsenal in Hong Kong, with Pape Matar Sarr scoring the only goal of the game in what was the first-ever North London derby to be played outside of the UK.
Meanwhile, Newcastle suffered a third straight defeat in pre-season with a 1-0 loss to a K League XI last time out, and have also been experiencing problems off the pitch.
Star striker Alexander Isak has reportedly claimed that he wants to explore his options in the summer transfer window after reigning Premier League champions Liverpool recently had an opening bid rejected for the Sweden international, while the Magpies have also been struggling to secure their top targets.
Newcastle's excellent recent H2H record may help brighten the mood for them as they have won five of the last six meetings in all competitions between the two sides. However, there is no doubt that Spurs look in better shape heading into this clash.
How the bookies view it: No odds currently available
There are currently no odds available for this match at the time of writing. Given that Spurs are in better form, we would expect them to be installed as favourites for this one.
Recent head-to-head: Newcastle win on travels
Newcastle won 2-1 the last time these two teams met at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Premier League in January. Dominic Solanke gave Spurs an early lead, before Anthony Gordon levelled proceedings almost immediately and Isak ensured victory all in the first half.
Players to watch: All eyes on strikers
Newcastle will be relying on young William Osula to try and fill the hole left by Isak for the time being, but the Magpies may look to buy a new striker before the window shuts.
Solanke, who scored in the last H2H, is currently injured, so Richarlison looks to continue to lead the line for Tottenham in his absence. He should have scored on the line against Arsenal, and should he get himself in similar goalscoring positions, we would be content with taking a punt on the Brazilian to score anytime.
Predicted lineups
As mentioned, Solanke is unlikely to be used, at least from the start, as Spurs head coach Thomas Frank tries to not rush him back from injury.
As well as Isak, Joe Willock is also unlikely to feature after the English midfielder picked up a bad-looking injury last time out.
Newcastle: Pope, Trippier, Schar, Lascelles, Burn, Guimaraes, Tonali, Joelinton, Murphy, Barnes, Osula
Tottenham: Vicario, Porro, Romero, Van de Ven, Spence, Sarr, Bentancur, Kudus, Maddison, Son, Richarlison
Anything else catch the eye?
Given that both teams have scored in 10 of the previous 11 meetings, we feel inclined to back a Tottenham win with Both Teams To Score (BTTS). Seven of those have also seen four or more goals scored in total, so Over 3.5 total goals is a bet we would also be willing to back.
