CHELSEA are unbeaten in 11 games across all competitions and they will be looking to maintain their fine form when they lock horns with Newcastle on Saturday lunchtime.
The big-spending Blues made a shaky start to the season, however, they have shown some notable signs of improvement in recent weeks and they will be looking to continue their upward progression at St James' Park.
Frank Lampard's star-studded side have suddenly shored things up at the back and their newfound defensive solidity has fuelled a run of five clean sheets across their last six matches.
The Chelsea legend also has a wealth of attacking talent at his disposal and the Blues min-revival has since seen some pundits tip them to challenge last season's top-two for the title.
Standing in Chelsea's way on Saturday is a Newcastle United side who have made their best start to a season since their promotion in 2016/17.
Having said that, the Magpies were comfortably beaten by Southampton last time out on a night where both of my recommended Bet Builders landed, and Steve Bruce will be hoping he can inspire a response from his troops when Chelsea come to town this weekend.

When digging slightly deeper it can be seen that Lampard's men have made the net bulge at least three times in five of their last six top-flight assignments and that does not bode well for a Newcastle backline who are without a clean sheet since the opening weekend of the season.

10 of Chelsea's last 11 Premier League road trips have produced over 2.5 goals and each of the Magpies last seven league matches in their own manor have featured three or more strikes.
