Having recently suffered a shock exit in the Coppa Italia, the Serie A now represents the only piece of domestic silverware Napoli can win this season. They are well on course to achieving this goal as they currently sit 12 points clear at the top.
It has been a fairly smooth ride for Napoli, who have looked very good, losing only to Inter Milan this season. Driven by the goals of top scorer Victor Osimhen, Napoli have won 14 of their last 15 Serie A matches and claimed a 2-0 victory at Salernitana in their previous fixture.
The Diego Armando Maradona Stadium has been a fortress for Napoli all season as they are yet to taste defeat in front of their fans. Luciano Spalletti’s men have claimed a number of one-sided wins in Naples with their last home fixture an impressive 5-1 victory over Juventus.
After looking erratic during the early stage of the season, Roma appear to be slowly finding their feet again. They are unbeaten in their last five matches, claiming three wins in that run and are currently just one point off the top four.
One of the reasons for Roma’s recent resurgence is a return to form for Tammy Abraham, who has looked lively lately. The striker was on target as the Giallorossi claimed a 2-0 victory at Spezia in their previous Serie A fixture.
The win at Spezia extends Roma’s unbeaten run on the road to seven matches, although two of the last three fixtures in that run have ended in draws. Having also failed to keep a clean sheet in three of their last four away matches, Jose Mourinho’s men could find things difficult against the leading scorers in Serie A.

Roma will be looking to Tammy Abraham to provide the spark in attack having rediscovered his scoring touch in recent weeks. The striker has found the net in two of his last three Serie A matches and is priced at 17/5 by Unibet to get on the score sheet on Sunday.
