LOUIS VAN GAAL'S talented Dutch side face a potentially tricky trip to Montenegro and can't afford any slip-ups.
The Dutch are two points clear at the top of their group ahead of Norway who they meet in the final game in what could be a frenzied atmosphere at De Kuip in Rotterdam.
They will qualify if they win in Montenegro and Norway fail to beat Latvia, but the likelihood is that it will be a final game shoot-out.
But they have to concentrate on getting the points in Podgorica, which might not be a walk in the park.
Montenegro can't reach second place because they are six points worse off than Norway who have already beaten them home and away.
Miodrag Radulovic's side have only won one of their last six qualifiers and have not enjoyed a good campaign with only two wins against Gibraltar and a victory in Latvia to their name, although they did collect a creditable point in Turkey.
The Dutch have won their last four games in a row, conceding only once and seem on track for Qatar.
How the bookies view it
The Dutch are huge favourites here at 1/4 generally, although Unibet have stuck their necks out and gone 3/10. The hosts can be backed at 12/1 with William Hill and the best price for the draw is 5/1 with SBK.
Recent head to heads
The Dutch cruised to a 4-0 win in Eindhoven as can be seen below. That's been the only meeting between the nations.
Players to watch
Montenegro striker Fatos Beciraj netted a double in his country's last win against Gibraltar and the Astana hitman is also their penalty taker. He's 5/1 to net anytime with Paddy Power.
Barcelona striker Memphis Depay might be playing for a team who are struggling, relatively at least, but he's still scored 13 goals for club and country including a double in the last Dutch match against Gibraltar. He also takes the penalties and is 5/6 to score anytime with 10Bet.
Anything else catch the eye?
Of all of those last four games in a row that the Dutch have won, they have been ahead at half time and full time, so that's the obvious call here at 20/23 with Boylesports.
They are also good for goals having rattled in 29 goals in just eight games, although 13 goals did come against Gibraltar. They should get the job done against a Montenegro side who are already out. It wouldn't be the biggest surprise if the Dutch cruise this and -2 on the handicaps at a big price of 12/5 with Paddy Power certainly appeals.
