Malmo need to bounce back from their Champions League heartache when Sigma Olomouc come calling for the first leg of their Europa League play-off.
The Swedish champions saw their hopes of sitting at the top table disappear when FC Copenhagen thrashed them 5-0 last week, bringing up two bets for us in Tuesday's football tips.
Malmo are also toiling domestically, with the Allsvenskan champions sitting 11 points behind pace-setters Mjallby in third place after 20 games.
They now need a big European result to save their season and will fancy their chances against a Sigma Olomouc side who have never qualified for group stage football.
The Czech side are back in Europe after a seven-year absence thanks to their victory in the Czech Cup last term.
But they could only finish sixth in their domestic league and currently sit fifth in the new campaign after three wins, a draw and a defeat.
Malmo should be sharper as they're deep into their season but they will need to perform much better than they did against FC Copenhagen.
How the bookies view it: Swede smell of success
The bookies reckon this will be a stroll for Malmo, with BoyleSports making the Swedes 2/7 favourites. Sigma Olomouc are priced at 7/4 and the draw pays 3/1.
Head to head: Sigma come full circle
These sides have never faced off before but Sigma Olomouc's first ever European game was against Swedish opposition. That came in the 1986/87 UEFA Cup, with Gothenburg dishing out a 5-1 aggregate beating en route to lifting the trophy.
Players to watch: Sead in the groove
Former Celtic forward Sead Haksabanovic has found a bit of form for Malmo of late, scoring five times in his last 10 appearances. The Montenegrin could be worth a punt for anytime scorer once the bookies get round to pricing up a market.
Daniel Vasulin scored the winner off the bench for Sigma against Zlin at the weekend and should start here. He has two goals from four games this term and is likely to offer their biggest threat.
Probable line-ups
Malmo are still without Erik Botheim while Johan Dahlin and Anton Tinnerholm are also set to miss out. Vasulin had been struggling with illness for Sigma Olomouc but his match-winning cameo at the weekend suggests he should be fit enough to start here.
Malmo: Olsen, Djuric, Stryger Larsen, Jansson, Rosler, Busanello, Rosengren, Berg, B Johnsen, Haksabanovic, Bolin.
Sigma Olomouc: Hruska, Sylla, Huk, Slama, Slavicek, Sip, Breite, Tkac, Janosek, Michez, Vasulin.
Anything else catch the eye?
Sigma Olomouc haven't been carrying a threat so far this season, netting just four times across their five games. Malmo have kept clean sheets in three of their last five so the home win to nil looks good here at 8/5 with BoyleSports.
The Swede should have most of the pressure and they've racked up nine corners in two of their last three matches. That makes over 6.5 Malmo flag kicks appealing at 20/21 with BoyleSports while Malmo -3 in the corner handicap pays evens at Bet365.
