Livingston and Falkirk meet on Saturday, with both sides coming into the back of two encouraging and entertaining draws in their opening league games.
In what is a derby of sorts, Livingston will play their first league match on their new artificial playing surface, which is night and day away from their notorious, horrific former pitch, which was ripped up in the summer to the relief of Scottish football.
This one has already won plaudits and it should witness a treat with both Livingston and Falkirk battling out 2-2 draws at the weekend.
Livi fought back from being two goals down at Rugby Park to gain a credible point at Kilmarnock, while the Bairns had to settle for a point against Dundee United in a game where they were odds-on favourites.
Both sides came up from the Championship with Falkirk winning the league and Livin going up via the play-offs.
And both sides have recruited wisely in the summer with Lions boss David Martindale going for players with experience of the top flight and Bairns manager John McGlynn not having to tinker too much with a squad who have won two promotions on the spin.
How the bookies view it: Livi just edge it
Livingston are narrow favourites here. Boylesports have them at 6/4 with Falkirk 8/5 and the draw 11/5.
Recent head to heads: Upper hand for the hosts
Despite Falkirk winning the title comfortably in the end, Livingston definitely had the upper hand on Falkirk last season by winning three of the four games and drawing the other one.
Falkirk haven't beaten Livingston in their last seven games.
Players to watch: Pitts is the man
Scott Pittman has now been at Livingston for ten years and was their hero last week by netting a late equaliser. The 33-year-old remains a big threat and is 7/2 to score anytime with bet365.
Brian Graham was a prolific scorer for Partick Thistle and made a shock move to Falkirk in the summer after he wasn't given the Jags job as manager permanently. He is always a handful and is 21/10 to score anytime with Betfred.
Predicted line-ups:
Livingston are set to be without Aidan Denholm, Connor McLennan, Cristian Montano and Cammy Kerr.
Falkirk are missing injured Sean Mackie, Finn Yeats, Barney Stewart, Coll Donaldson and Jamie Sneddon.
Livingston: Prior, Finlayson, McGowan, Wilson, Montgomery, Tait, Sylla, Pittman, Winter, Muirhead, Carey.
Falkirk: Bain, Adams, Henderson, Neilson, McCann, Tait, Spencer, Arfield, Ross, Miller, Graham.
Anything else catch the eye?
The obvious call here is for these newly promoted sides to cancel themselves out and settle for their second point in a row…and there should be goals too.
While promoted sides often struggle, they usually get a bounce at the start of the season because of the confidence they gained from the previous season.
And certainly on last week's evidence, both Livingston and Falkirk should hold their own in the top flight.
They both love to attack and might not be watertight at the back. That should lead to goals and plenty of them.
Back over 2.5 goals and both teams to score at
And for a cheeky punt, back over 3.5 goals too at 5/2 with Boylesports.
