LIVERPOOL were heavily criticised for their shock defeat at Nottingham Forest last week, but they have what looks like an open goal to get back on track against a freefalling Leeds United side.
Jurgen Klopp's side were in midweek action in the Champions League and at least got back on track when they eventually eased to a comfortable 3-0 win at Ajax.
As for Leeds, manager Jesse Marsch is feeling the heat right now after a dreadful recent run. Last week's 3-2 defeat to Fulham – where the atmosphere at Elland Road threatened to turn toxic at times – was their fourth league loss in a row, after defeats by Crystal Palace, Arsenal and Leicester City too.
It all seemed so different for him and Leeds when they thrashed Chelsea 3-0 at Elland Road. But that was back in the middle of August and that was the last time they won a league match..nine games ago.
They've taken just two points from a possible 24 and everyone knows what happens in the Premier League when that happens.
So Marsch could really do with taking something from Anfield on Saturday night, although the form points to another frustrating encounter for Leeds, who are now in the bottom three.

Last season's meetings were a disaster for Leeds – they crashed to a 6-0 defeat at Anfield and lost 3-0 at Elland Road too.
Liverpool have won the last five meetings at Anfield between the sides and Leeds last won there in 1999 when Rio Ferdinand scored for the visitors!
Players to watch
Darwin Nunez has scored two goals in his last three league games for Liverpool and the Uruguayan is 21/20 with bet365 to add to that tally on Merseyside.
Rodrigo was on fire at the start of the season, until he suffered something of a goal drought. That ended last week against Fulham and he is 7/2 also with bet365 to net at Anfield.
Anything else catch the eye?
For all Liverpool's problems and inconsistencies this season, this is surely a banker against a Leeds side struggling badly and who Liverpool clearly enjoy playing against.
Klopp's men should get plenty of attacking joy and given Leeds have failed to score in three of their last five games, the home win to nil looks the obvious choice at 17/10 with Paddy Power.
