Both Lazio and Lecce have something crucial to play for at opposite ends of the table as they meet at the Stadio Olimpico in their final Serie A game of the season on Sunday night.
Lazio are in sixth place at the time of writing, which would yield a UEFA Europa Conference League (UECL) place for next season. However, if other results go their way, they could jump as high as fourth, which would earn them a place in the UEFA Champions League (UCL) instead.
The hosts' impressive 2-2 draw at UCL finalists and second-placed Inter Milan in the league last time out stretched their unbeaten run to five games. Lazio are also unbeaten on home soil in Serie A since January.
That does not bode well for Lecce's chances of pulling off a shock result, as they aim to avoid relegation in their final match. The visitors are currently only outside of the drop zone by virtue of their superior H2H record against 18th-placed Empoli.
Lecce's 1-0 win at home to Torino last time out was remarkably their first since January. They will hope that it can give them a confidence boost ahead of a tricky trip to the Stadio Olimpico.
Lazio have won the last two H2Hs, after previously going four without victory. Nonetheless, they will be strong favourites to claim another three points.
How the bookies view it: Lazio landslide favourites
As expected, Lazio are big favourites to triumph with BoyleSports offering 1/2 odds for them to claim victory. A draw is priced at 14/5 with the same bookmaker, while a Lecce win is as far out as 11/2.
Recent head-to-head: Lazio leave it late
Lazio won the reverse fixture 2-1 earlier this season, but needed an 87th-minute winner from Adam Marusic to take home all three points. Valentin Castellanos had given the visitors the lead on the stroke of HT, before Tete Morente equalised five minutes into the second half.
Frederic Guilbert was also shown a red card for Lecce, while five yellow cards were also dished out between each team. Given what is at stake for both, we can see plenty more cards being handed out as both get desperate, and BetVictor offering 6/5 odds for Over 4.5 total cards seems fairly generous.
Players to watch: Will Pedro produce again?
Pedro scored both goals for Lazio against Inter last time out, and can be backed at 7/4 with BoyleSports to score anytime.
Likewise, Yiber Ramadani netted for Lecce in their last outing, and will hope to do so again.
Predicted lineups
Lazio are sweating on the fitness of Nuno Tavares, while fellow defenders Patric and Manuel Lazzari are definitely out.
Key player Nikola Krstovic, who assisted Ramadani's winner against Torino, is an injury doubt, while Morente, who was a scorer in the reverse fixture, is suspended.
Lazio: Mandas, Marusic, Gila, Romagnoli, Gigot, Guendouzi, Rovella, Isaksen, Vecino, Pedro, Castellanos.
Lecce: Falcone, Guilbert, Gaspar, Baschirotto, Gallo, Coulibaly, Ramadani, N'Dri, Helgason, Rebic, Kaba.
Anything else catch the eye?
With Lazio such overwhelming favourites, we have to be clever in terms of potential market opportunities. Given Lecce are the league's weakest attack with just 26 goals all season, Lazio could well win to nil, which has been price boosted to 13/8 by BoyleSports.
