Inter Milan will take on Lazio in Serie A on Sunday, 18 May, in a huge match at the top of the league table.
With just two weeks of the season to go, both clubs find themselves in a place behind where they would like to be, with Inter trailing Napoli in first and Lazio trailing Juventus in fourth.
As a result, the match on Sunday should be a cracker as it is between two teams who are desperate for three points.
How the bookies view it: Inter go in as firm favourites
Inter Milan have renewed hope in the title race following Napoli's surprise draw with Genoa last week, and that bounce has contributed towards them being priced as the odds-on favourites on Sunday. BoyleSports have priced a home win at 6/10, while an away victory has been priced at 15/4. The draw, which could turn out to be okay for both teams, has been priced at 14/5.
Head to head: Advantage Inter
Inter Milan's status as favourites for this match is further backed up by their recent record in this fixture. The Nerazzuri have won five of their last six matches against Lazio, including two already this season in the league and cup. Lazio haven't beaten Inter Milan since August 2022.
Players to watch: Here comes the cavalry
Inter Milan manager, Simone Inzaghi, was prepared to throw the league away last weekend when he made significant changes to his starting XI in light of the club's qualification for the Champions League final.
However, after winning away at Torino and seeing Napoli drop points at home to Genoa, the appetite for a league and Champions League double is back on, and Inzaghi is expected to bring his rested stars back into the fold.
One standout name is Nicola Barella, who has established himself as one of the finest midfielders in Europe. Barella isn't a numbers man in terms of goals and assists, but everything Inter do goes through him in the middle of the park.
Inter's first-choice wingbacks, Denzel Dumfries and Federico Dimarco, should also come back in and their expertise from the flanks are well documented.
Predicted line-ups
As mentioned above, Inter Milan will make significant changes this weekend, but they are still missing some important players due to injury. Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Davide Frattesi and Lautaro Martinez are all expected to miss out. Lazio don't have as many injury corners, but they are missing two players – Luca Pellegrini and Mattia Zaccagni due to suspension.
Inter Milan: Sommer – Bisseck, De Vrij, Bastoni – Dumfries, Zielinski, Calhanoglu, Asllani, Dimarco – Thuram, Taremi
Lazio: Mandas – Marusic, Romagnoli, Gila, Gigot – Rovella, Guendouzi – Isaksen, Dele-Bashiru, Pedro – Castellanos
Anything else catch the eye?
Inter Milan aren't going to blitz their way through these final two matches, and anyone who thinks differently has more than likely been misled by their frenzied matches with Barcelona in the Champions League. Inzaghi's men are typically tighter, and they have only scored three goals in their last four league games. Inter to score under 1.5 goals on Sunday has been priced at 23/20 by BoyleSports.
