Heart of Midlothian have suffered plenty of European pain already this season and will be out to avoid more misery against Rapid Vienna in the UEFA Conference League play-offs.
The Jambos were thrashed 6-0 on aggregate by Sturm Graz in the Champions League qualifiers then lost 7-2 over two legs against Benfica after dropping down to the Europa League.
But they now have a third chance to secure group stage football and look to be in much better shape for their showdown with the Austrian side.
New boss Wouter Vrancken's methods seem to be taking root and Hearts have scored 10 times across their last two domestic games with Dundee United and Inverness.
That has boosted confidence in the ranks but they now face a stiff challenge against a Rapid Vienna side who have flown out of the traps.
Johannes Hoff Thorup's side thrashed GAK 1902 at the weekend, winning 8-0, and that made it seven successive victories.
So the Austrians will head to Tynecastle full of belief as they look to continue their perfect start to the new campaign.
How the bookies view it: Tight one at Tynecastle
Bet365 make Rapid Vienna 4/6 favourites to reach the group stage but they're 7/4 outsiders for a Tynecastle win. Hearts are priced 5/4 with home advantage while the draw pays 5/2.
Head to head: Rapid return to Scotland
These sides haven't faced off before but Rapid Vienna needed penalties to see off Dundee United in the Conference League qualifiers just a year ago.
It has been a mixed bag for the Austrians against Scottish opposition, with five wins, five defeats and four draws.
Players to watch: Miller in the spotlight
Calvin Miller has made a strong start to his Heart of Midlothian career, netting three times already. The former Falkirk winger is on the penalties and he's 11/4 with Bet365 for another strike.
Rapid Vienna midfielder Tonni Adamsen heads into this game with his confidence sky high after scoring four times in their weekend rout. He's 13/8 to grab another goal at Tynecastle.
Probable line-ups
Hearts have drafted new keeper Kieran Wright, defender Christian Borchgrevink and winger Rogers Mato into their European squad, while forward Alexandros Kyziridis has been sold to FK Corum. Laurent Mendy and Harry Milne are fitness doubts.
Rapid Vienna have a few injury issues, with Andrija Radulovic, Claudy Mbuyi, Daniel Nunoo, Martin Ndzie and Dominic Vincze set to miss out.
Heart of Midlothian: Reus, Altena, Borchgrevink, McCart, Miller; Renaud, Spittal; McEntee, Kerjota, Ba-Sy, Braga.
Rapid Vienna: Hedl, Bolla, Cvetkovic, Raux-Yao, Horn, Seidl, Amane, Demir, Adamsen, Dahl, Kara.
Anything else catch the eye?
It looks like Hearts will be great entertainers under Vrancken and four of their seven games so far this season have seen four or more goals.
The same stat applies for Rapid Vienna so this match should be a good watch with goals at both ends.
BTTS pays just 8/13 at Bet365 but if you add on over 2.5 goals it boosts the odds to evens. I also like over 1.5 first-half goals and that pays 6/4 with the same firm.
We could see a few corners if it's an open game and backing over 10 flag kicks pays 6/5. Those odds seem fair enough with Hearts' two home games in Europe so far averaging 10 corners so far.
