MORTON managed to shut out Airdrieonians in the first leg of their play-off final and if they repeat the trick back at Cappielow they will preserve their place in the SPFL Championship.
I fancied a few goals in that first leg after both teams were involved in thrilling semi-finals that went all the way to extra time, with the Greenock men seeing off Montrose and Airdrie edging out Cove.
But it took a late goal from Robbie Muirhead to separate the sides, putting Gus MacPherson's side in the driving seat for the return.
MacPherson has made Ton hard to beat and their only defeat inside 90 minutes in the last eight games came in the first leg of their semi-final with Montrose.
The Diamonds had been in fine form before the first leg of the final, their only loss in 11 games coming to League One champions Partick.
So Ian Murray's men will feel this tie is still very much alive with Morton holding the narrowest of leads.
How the bookies view it
Morton are red-hot favourites to qualify at 2/13 with McBookie while Airdrieonians are 17/4 to turn the tie around. For a win on the night, Ton are better value at evens with William Hill while the Diamonds are 17/6 at VBet and the stalemate 38/15 with the same firm.
Recent head to head
The Cappielow side have dominated this fixture of late, with that 1-0 win in the first leg (below) making it seven victories in the last 10 meetings. Airdrie won just two of those matches with the other game a draw.
Players to watch
Most of the best chances in the first leg came from set-pieces so Morton stopper Markus Fjortoft could be a good long-odds option. He has netted three times this season and twice in his last seven games. The Norwegian is a generous 16/1 with Bet365 for anytime scorer.
Calum Gallagher let me down after I flagged him up for a goal in the first leg but he remains a threat for Airdrie. The former Rangers youngster is 11/4 with Paddy Power for anytime scorer.
Anything else catch the eye?
Airdrie need to go for it so it should be an open game. Both teams to score is a best 4/5 with McBookie, which is a decent option for accas, while over 2.5 goals pays 19/20 at Bet365.
There's not a great deal between these sides so another one-goal winning margin for either team appeals at 11/8 with McBookie.
Airdrie stopper Callum Fordyce has five yellows for the season so the 11/4 McBookie are offering on him being carded looks decent value.

Took advice on Dundee v Kilmarnock game did the goals and cards plus threw in Charlie Adam to score anytime… so happy days so great tipping thanks
Glad it came up. Was very happy when Mr Adam got booked with just seconds remaining. What odds did you get for anytime scorer?
Charlie Adam was 9/1 mate but it was in a bet builder job stuck 15 quid on got 140 back … bottled the corners though and they came up … but still happy overall.
Wow, nice profit. Well done
