After crashing out of the FA Cup, Fulham will turn their full attention to the English Championship and their quest for automatic promotion. They face an out of sorts Millwall on Tuesday and will be confident of coming out on top.
Fulham crashed out of the FA Cup on Saturday after suffering a 4-1 defeat at Manchester City. They took an early lead through Fabio Carvalho but ultimately proved to be no match for the superior fire power of the Premier League champions.
Marco Silva’s men are five points clear of closest rivals Blackburn Rovers at the top, although they were held to a 1-1 draw by Blackpool in their previous league fixture.
Fulham have done some of their best work at Craven Cottage where they have scored 37 goals in their 15 home matches this season. They will be looking to channel the performance that saw them earn successive 6-2 victories over Bristol City and Birmingham prior to the draw with Blackpool.
In contrast to Fulham’s impressive form, Millwall have been on a downward spiral in recent times. They have dropped to 15th on the table but still hold a comfortable lead over the relegation zone.
Millwall were not in FA Cup action last weekend so their last outing was a 0-0 draw with Preston North End in their previous Championship fixture. That result means they have claimed just one win from their last six matches across all competitions, suffering four defeats in that run.
Gary Rowett’s men also have a poor record on their travels with just one win in their last seven away matches in the Championship. They have lost five times in that run, including a 1-0 defeat to Blackpool in their previous fixture on the road.
How the bookies view it

Recent head to head

Players to watch
Aleksandar Mitrovic had a quiet outing in the FA Cup but remains the one to watch for Fulham. The Serbian striker has 28 Championship goals this season and is priced at 8/11 by betfair to get on the score sheet on Tuesday.
The goals have not been particularly forthcoming for Millwall lately but Benik Afobe could be worth keeping an eye on. The striker was on target in the reverse fixture and is priced at 17/4 by Unibet to find the net.
Anything else catch the eye?
Fulham often score lots of goals at Craven Cottage and can count back-to-back 6-2 victories over Bristol City and Birmingham among their recent results at home. They could be tipped in the -2 handicap market at 11/4 with Paddy Power.
The goals market could also offer some value with over 3.5 goals priced at 15/8 with BoyleSports. Fulham can also be tipped to score in both halves at 11/10 with bet365.
