Manager Jacob Neestrup will be disappointed to have been denied a vital win in Turkey given the difficult nature of Group A. However, Copenhagen can still consider themselves in good form lately having lost just once in their last seven matches across all competitions.
A slight problem for Copenhagen heading into Tuesday’s clash in that they have surprisingly struggled in front of their fans. They have claimed just one win in their last four home matches across all competitions and were beaten 2-0 by Midtjylland in a Superliga fixture last Saturday.
Bayern Munich began their Champions League campaign with a thrilling 4-3 victory over Manchester United. Goals from Leroy Sane, Serge Gnabry, Harry Kane and Mathys Tel earned them the win in an end to end encounter fraught with defensive errors.
While Bayern Munich have been solid enough so far, it has not been a typically dominant campaign across all competitions. The major problem has been a defensive vulnerability which was evident as Thomas Tuchel’s side played out a 2-2 draw at RB Leipzig in a Bundesliga Liga clash last Saturday.
That draw at RB Leipzig extended Bayern Munich’s unbeaten run to eight matches across all competitions. With the likes of Harry Kane and Leroy Sane looking impressive in front of goal, there have been some one-sided results in that run, including a 7-0 victory over Bochum and a 4-0 win at Werder Bremen.

Bayern Munich have been installed as overwhelming favourites among the bookies and are priced at 1/5 by bet365 to claim the win. Copenhagen are considered outsiders at home at 14/1 with BoyleSports while a draw is set at odds of 13/2 by William Hill.

Players to watch
Diogo Goncalves has been in good form for Copenhagen this season and heads into Tuesday’s clash with goals in two of his last three matches. The attacker was also on target in the opening fixture and is priced at 21/2 by Unibet.
Harry Kane has now found the net nine times in seven matches across all competitions for Bayern Munich and is priced at 8/11 by Unibet to maintain his scoring run. With three goals in his last four matches, Leroy Sane could also be worth keeping an eye on at 8/5 with 888Sport.
