Dundee United entertain Hearts on Sunday in the second game of the Premiership season.
The hosts opened their league campaign with a solid 2-2 draw at newly-promoted Falkirk in a game where they were underdogs, despite last season's fourth place finish.
They were in midweek action on Thursday in Austria and took plenty of plaudits after an excellent 2-2 draw against Rapid Vienna in the Europa Conference League.
It was a fantastic result in what was a superb week for Scottish football in Europe.
But Hearts are in very much the focus of attention after a good week for the club.
Firstly, majority shareholder Tony Bloom outlined ambitious plans for Hearts to not only split the Old Firm, but win the title within ten years.
That got Hearts fans very excited and they followed it up with a 2-0 home win over Scottish Cup winners Aberdeen, which was a professional rather than eye-catching performance.
It's an exciting time to be a Jambo at the moment and they will go into this clash at Tannadice with plenty of optimism under Derek McInnes.
How the bookies view it: Hearts odds-on good things
Bookies perhaps think United's European exertions will take a lot out of them and make the hosts 5/2 outsiders with Hearts 10/11 with Boylesports. The draw is 12/5.
Recent head to heads: Away days rule
There were three 1-0 wins between the sides last season and they were all away wins. Two of them went in United's favour at Tynecastle and Hearts won at Tannadice.
United have failed to beat Hearts in their last five games at home.
Players to watch: Take it to the Max
Max Watters was United's hero last week with a goal on his league debut at Falkirk nd he followed it up with a midweek goal in Vienna. The on loan Barnsley striker was a removal man before he went pro and he would love to deliver a goal here at 5/2 with Boylesports.
Stuart Findlay will be a big signing for Hearts this season and is a real aerial threat as he proved by scoring the clinching second goal against Aberdeen last week. The defender is a massive 14/1 to score anytime with bet365, which could be worth a spare shilling.
Predicted line-ups:
United were left reeling this week after it was revealed Ryan Strain and Kristijan Trapanovski would both be out for a few months. Defender Ross Graham is also a long-term injury victim.
Hearts are set to be without midfielder Beni Baningime with a knee injury.
Dundee United: Kucherenko, Esselink, Iovu, Sevelj, Camara, Sapsford, Sibbald, Dolcek, Keresztes, Watters, Pappoe.
Hearts: Clark, Borchgrevink, Kent, Halkett, Findlay, Milne, Devlin, McEntee, Spittal, Braga, Shankland.
Anything else catch the eye?
Hearts would probably be worth backing anyway, but with United having a draining European match in Austria, the Jambos are even more backable now.
They can certainly improve on their opening day league win against Aberdeen and they have also beefed up this season.
Goals have not been an issue for Hearts this season so far and they also look worth a go at 20/23 for over 1.5 goals for the visitors.
