A place in the round of 16 is on the line as Denmark and Serbia square off in their final Euro 2024 Group C fixture. Neither team has picked up a win in the competition but the Danes have a solid record against Serbia and will fancy their chances of coming out on top.
Denmark are yet to secure a victory at Euro 2024 having drawn their opening two matches. They played out a 1-1 scoreline with England last time out, with Morten Hjulmand’s fine strike earning them a share of the spoils after going behind.
The good news for Denmark is that they have found the net in their two matches so far despite their strikers struggling to find their rhythm. However, their defending will be a concern for manager Kasper Hjulmand as they gave away cheap goals in both fixtures.
Serbia are in a similar situation with Denmark as they are also without a win after two matches in Group C. However, unlike the Danes, they were beaten by England in their opening fixture before playing out a 1-1 draw with Slovenia thanks to Luka Jovic’s late strike.
One of the problems for Serbia is that the partnership of Dusan Vlahovic and Aleksandar Mitrovic does not seem to work as both men have struggled to get into matches. Dragan Stojkovic’s men have also looked a bit suspect at the back after conceding in both their matches so far.
How the bookies view it: Serbia to stumble
Denmark have the upper hand among the bookies and are priced at 6/5 by Betfred to claim the win on Tuesday. A victory for Serbia is valued at 21/10 while Betfred is also offering 13/5 for a draw.
Head to head: Denmark stay perfect
Denmark have won all three previous matches against Serbia and claimed a 3-0 victory in a friendly back in 2022.
However, if we go a bit further behind in history, Denmark has also met with former Yugoslavia seven times and in those matches, they've only won twice and lost the other five.
Recent H2H duels:
- 29/03/2022 (International Friendly) – Denmark 3-0 Serbia
- 13/06/20105 (EURO Qualifiers) – Denmark 2-0 Serbia
- 14/11/2014 (EURO Qualifiers) – Serbia 1-3 Denmark
Players to watch: Wind on the money
Jonas Wind has looked lively for Denmark in the two matches so far and will feel he is due a goal. The striker could be worth keeping an eye on to score anytime on Tuesday at 21/10 with Betfred.
Luka Jovic was the hero for Serbia last time out after scoring a dramatic late equaliser against Slovenia. He is the only Serbian forward with a goal at Euro 2024 and could be backed to find the net again at 11/5 with Betfred.
Probable line-ups
Denmark could make a few changes to their team with Yussuf Poulsen likely to be handed a start after coming off the bench in the two previous matches. Alexander Bah could also return to the starting line-up after playing as a substitute last time out.
Luka Jovic could be handed a start for Serbia after scoring off the bench against Slovenia. Sergej Milinkovic-Savic could also return to the midfield having only made a second half substitute appearance last time out.

Serbia: Rajkovic, Veljkovic, Milenkovic, Pavlovic, Zivkovic, Lukic, Milenkovic-Savic, Mladenovic, Tadic, Jovic, Mitrovic
Anything else catch the eye?
