ARSENAL face another acid test of their title credentials as they head across London for a mouth-watering Premier League derby with Chelsea.
The Gunners have already beaten big guns Liverpool and Tottenham on their march to the top of the table but both of those victories came at the Emirates.
They've only faced one game on the road against one of the traditional ‘top six' and that ended in a 3-1 defeat to Manchester United so it will be fascinating to see how they get on at Stamford Bridge.
Graham Potter suffered his first defeat as Chelsea boss last weekend when old club Brighton dished out a 4-1 beating on his return to the Amex Stadium.
But the Blues bounced back with a Champions League win over Dinamo Zagreb in midweek, with two of my bets landing inside the first 18 minutes as Potter fielded a stronger team than expected.
Arsenal were also in action on Thursday night, finishing off their Europa League campaign against Zurich, but Mikel Arteta's men have coped well with the demands of juggling continental and domestic games.
Chelsea will provide them with a stern test though and have yet to taste defeat at home all season, with five wins and three draws. Potter's side sit 10 points behind the Gunners in sixth place but a victory here could fire them back into the mix at the top of the table.
How the bookies view it
There's nothing between these sides but home advantage makes Chelsea slight favourites at a best 17/10 with SpreadEx. Arsenal are 9/5 at William Hill while the draw pays 53/21 at VBet.
Recent head to head
This London derby has been hugely competitive in recent seasons, with the last 10 meetings producing five Arsenal victories, four Chelsea wins and just a single draw. Both matches last season ended in away wins, with Arsenal triumphing 4-2 at Stamford Bridge after a 2-0 loss at the Emirates.
Players to watch
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will be fired up for this one as the Chelsea star looks to prove a point to Arteta after being binned by the Arsenal boss last season. The Gabon striker is 9/4 with Bet365 for anytime scorer while Unibet price him at a whopping 7/1 for an assist which might be worth a punt.
Chelsea have looked a bit vulnerable at right-back with Reece James out injured so Gabriel Martinelli could get a bit of joy. The Brazilian winger is 16/5 at Unibet to score and the same firm have him at 5/1 for an assist.
Anything else catch the eye?
We saw six goals when Arsenal last came to Stamford Bridge and this one could be a thriller too. BTTS isn't great value at a best 3/4 with SBK but over 2.5 goals is better at 9/10 with SportNation.
With the teams so evenly matched the half-time draw looks a good option at 6/5 with Bet365 while McBookie price a one-goal winning margin for either side at 13/10.
