After being held by Getafe, Real Madrid will be hoping to bounce back as they travel to the Estadio Ramon de Carranza for a Spanish La Liga fixture against Cadiz. They will consider Sunday’s result a blip and should return to winning ways against an inconsistent Cadiz team.
Cadiz are coming off a 0-0 home draw against Celta Vigo last time out in La Liga. They were lucky to earn that point as Celta Vigo put up a dominant display marred by poor finishing.
The result means Alvaro Cervera's men are unbeaten in three matches and have moved away from the threat of relegation. They remain in the bottom half of the table but are now nine points above the relegation zone.
Cadiz have been far from convincing at home and have claimed just two wins from their last seven matches. They have lost 4-0 to Athletic Bilbao in that run and were also beaten 4-2 by leaders Atletico Madrid.
Real Madrid were disappointing in their previous La Liga fixture as they were held 0-0 by Getafe. With a number of players missing through injury, suspension or COVID-19 isolation, they struggled to find their spark and needed goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois to bail them out a few times.
