ABERDEEN and Hibs meet at Pittodrie on Sunday after their European disappointments this week.
The Dons blew a great opportunity to qualify for the lucrative group stages of the Europa League by losing at home to Swedish champions BK Hacken.
Naivety in attack and defence cost them – they missed two one-on-ones and were outdone by the brilliance of Ibrahim Sadiq. But they will be kicking themselves because that was a winnable tie.
While Hibs – on a damage limitation after that first leg 5-0 mauling by Aston Villa at Easter Road – got away with a three-goal defeat in Birmingham.
Both sides are still looking for their first league win of the season although Barry Robson's side at least have two draws, with their last minute point at St Mirren last week being extremely fortuitous.

Aberdeen have yet to settle in the league and they still only have one win to their credit all season and that was in the Viaplay Cup at Stirling Albion. A defeat on Sunday would be disastrous.
Hibs finally got rid of happy but hapless manager Lee Johnson last week after a calamitous start to their Premiership season.
When the fixture list paired their first three games against St Mirren and Livingston at home and Motherwell away, Hibs fans would have been hoping for nine points. Instead, they have none.
Club legend David Gray will be in charge for the trip to Pittodrie and will be hoping to kickstart their season.
How the bookies view it
Aberdeen are favourites across the board with William Hill offering 5/4 on a home win.
Hibs can be backed at 23/10 with bet365 and the draw is 11/5 with McBookie.com.
Recent head to heads
Aberdeen have a very strong home record against Hibs. The capital side have won just once in the last 11 years at Pittodrie.
But they got a goalless draw here last season and were the better team that day.
Players to watch
Leighton Clarkson pops up with plenty of vital goals for the Dons and the former Liverpool kid is a free kick specialist. He's a big price at 9/1 to score anytime with bet365.
Aberdonian Martin Boyle will be Hibs' danger man against his hometown team and he is 3/1 to score anytime with William Hill.
Anything else catch the eye?
What usually happens between these two teams is that they both win their home games, but this could easily be a draw and that's the call. Neither side can be backed with any confidence.
Both sides will have to deal with European hangovers and neither will face the qualify of the sides who beat them in midweek.
The Dons have yet to get going this season and miss too many chances. Hibs are better than they have shown and that could lead to both sides cancelling each other out.
Aberdeen love a corner – they won 11 against Hacken – and Hibs can get joy down the flanks too. Go for over 10.5 corners at evens with UniBet.
