Real Madrid have been a frustrating side for punters to follow this season and at odds of just 1/5 you wouldn't back them at with any confidence at such a short price to beat Galatasaray.
Just two points separate the top six in La Liga, with Real currently in second place behind Barca on goal difference, which speaks volumes for the topsy-turvy nature of results across the board this season so far. Zinedine Zidane's side have dropped 11 points in their opening 11 games in the league, failing to score in three.
Combined with an emphatic 3-0 loss at PSG and a surprising 2-2 draw at home Club Brugge it's no surprise that Zidanes coat is on a shoogly peg in Madrid at the moment. The Spanish giants have now lost three of their last six Champions League matches – conceding three or more goals in each of those defeats, and 13 in that six-game sequence.
Zizou simply can't afford any more slip-ups and is fortunate that Group A's also-rans come from two of the weaker nations represented in the Champions League.
That takes us on to Galatasaray who have really disappointed in the competition so far. Three games played, zero goals scored and just one point on the board. That solitary point came at Club Brugge in a match where the will feel they could have, if not should have, won. They lost their other matches, both at home by a single goal to Real Madrid and PSG.
They're also struggling domestically where they find themselves seventh in the league. They've won just two of their last nine in all competitions, failing to score in six of them. The Turks haven't won in their last ten European fixtures (D3 L7) and have won once in their last 18 in Europe.
Galatasaray are really struggling for goals, just 11 scored in 10 league games so there could be value in backing Madrid to win without conceding. You can get 1/1 at Bet365 and Betfred.
In the corners market, Real Madrid are 4/6 to win 7 or more. In their 2-2 draw with Club Brugge at the Bernabeu they won 14 of them, albeit they were chasing the game most of the time, but that's a huge number. Half that amount would see this bet land on Wednesday.
