Crystal Palace v Arsenal
Premier League. Sunday October 28. Kick-off 1.30pm. Live on Sky Sports Premier League.
AFTER a couple of games this season Arsenal fans could be forgiven for thinking it was going to be another campaign of competing for a Europa League spot.
They looked well off the pace against Manchester City in their opening match but fast forward two months and the Gunners are on an 11-match winning streak in all competitions and their fans are dreaming of a season competing for the title.
While I don't think they will quite challenge for the title they should have enough to see off a Palace side who are without a goal in their four Premier League home games.
The Gunners have scored two or more goals in their eight league games since their opening-day defeat to City, this is a best price of 4-6 with Betfair and I suspect they will again score at least two.
If Palace continue their poor form in front of goal and we expect Arsenal to score two then backing the Gunners on the handicaps could be worth looking at. Betfair again have the best odds on Arsenal -1 at 21-10.
Another interesting angle is that despite Arsenal's seven league wins in a row they have yet to lead a Premier League game at half-time. So the draw half-time/Arsenal full-time market could also be worth a look at 15-8 (betfair).
