Juventus v Young Boys
Champions League. Kick-Off 7.45pm, Tuesday 2nd October. Live on BT Sport 1
Juventus will be without the services of Cristiano Ronaldo after his red card on Matchday One but should still have enough in their locker to see off Champions League debutants Young Boys in Turin on Tuesday evening.
Juve have made a perfect start to the season and come into this one with a 100% win record across all competitions so far.
Despite Ronaldo sitting this one out, goals are still to be expected. Juve have scored two or more goals in all but one of their last six Champions League fixtures.
Young Boys lead the way domestically and like Juve have made a flawless start to their home campaign (W9, D0, L0). All but one of Young Boys’ last nine matches have seen three or more total goals scored. The match represents a step up in class for the Swiss Champions however and unfortunately for them it's likely to be Italians that'll rack up the goals.
Guillaume Hoarau represents Young Boys' biggest danger. He's score five in his last seven domestic appearances, and also scored a crucial double at Dinamo Zagreb in the qualifying round.
Juve have lost just one of their last ten matches in the Champions League and are a formidable side at home. Odds on them winning in 90 minutes are as short as 1/6 so there's little value there. Even on the Asian Handicap, Juve (-2.0) win pays just over 4/5.
Instead, I like the look of Juventus to score over 2.5 goals at 5/6. If you're looking for a bigger price on the match then consider Over 2.5 Match Goals & No to Both Teams to Score at 15/8.
