LEWIS HAMILTON was quickest in practice for the Malaysian Grand Prix and is 4-5 favourite at BetVictor to take pole position today.
The reigning world champ, looking to bounce back to form after a ropey showing in Singapore last time out, pipped Mercedes team-mate Nico Rosberg, who is 11-8 at William Hill and Coral, while Seb Vettel was third fastest and is 25-1 at Betfair.
At the Wuhan Open tennis, Petra Kvitova takes on Dominika Cibulkova in the final and there's last-four action from the men's Shenzhen Open involving the likes of Richard Gasquet and Tomas Berdych.
Other highlights on a packed Saturday of sport include rugby league's £1million game between Salford and Hull KR plus the likes of cricket and boxing.
Good luck with your punts and let's hear all your tips and chat.

Thanks for the kind words lads! :)
German Bundesliga (Friday)
Brose @ Phantoms (18:00GMT)
I won’t go too much into detail here but Brose were last seasons standout team and I dont see that changing this season. They travel to New Yorker Phantom who will get a brutal introduction against Brose. I’d expect the visitors to win by 20+ points so quite happy to take the given spread.
Points Spread: Brose (-18.5) @ 9/10, Winner Sports – 2.5pts staked. ***WINNER*** :)
Good luck!

Final score 96-48.
Well I did say it would be brutal for Phantom but yikes, that’s a as brutal a mauling as you’ll see in the Bundesliga.

Spanish ACB
Malaga @ Madrid (19:00GMT)
The season gets underway in the Spanish ACB as Madrid entertain Malaga at the Barclaycard Centre.
Madrid go into this match as strong favourites and the spread has been set at 12 points, but Malaga can be troublesome for any team on their day and it would take a brave punter to take this on in the opening day.
With Pablo Laso at the helm once again, we should see Madrid adopt a fast paced, gung-ho style of Basketball with many 3-pointer attempts. Given this, along with Malaga’s offensive threat, I think the total look remarkably low. This is the season opener and the bookies are possibly expecting the game to be played at a lower pace but I don’t believe either Malaga or Madrid will change their style of play.
Total Points: Over 165 @ 10/11 Skybet / Coral – 2pts staked. ***WINNER*** :)
Total Points: Over 171.5 @ 7/4, Coral – 1pt staked. ***WINNER*** :)
Good luck!
—————————–
Final score: 101-90.
I’m glad I resisted the temptation to take the spread and opt for the totals instead. The bets were never in doubt after the 1st half and the cherry on top seeing Madrid win a tough opener to the ACB.

German Bundesliga
Phoenix Hagen @ Eisbaren Bemerhave (17:00GMT)
Bremerhaven entertain Phoenix Hagen in this German top-flight game. Hagen were a very offensive minded team last season and expect more of the same from them this time round, they should play a high paced game but have a very poor defence. These two teams produced 185 points in this fixture last season and both see their fair share of high scoring matches. Bremerhaven’s season opener produced 176 points whereas Hagen only managed 156 but they certainly have the potential to be involved in 180-200 point games. All-in-all this game should have a good chance at overs.
Total Points: (Over 173.5) @ 5/6, PP – 1.6pts staked. ***LOST***
Good luck!

Final score: 91-81.
A single basket away from a full house! Was looking very likely until a 4 minute period in the 4th with only 2 points registered.

A relatively stress free fourfold with the slight exception with Wurzburg covering the spread by 7 points.

Just one single in the middle of the night i’m on:
Queensland Country V NSW Country Eagles (Rugby U, 4am, Aus)
NSW to win both halves @1.72
Not the highest odds but i’m happy to back it to increase my balance for the internationals later on.
NSW 2nd in the league with 6 straight wins, QC 7th with 7 straight losses. Should be a straightforward win for NSW. In all of NSW’s last 5 matches, they have been winning at HT and then gone on to win. On the other hand 3/5 of QC’s last 5 matches they have been losing at HT.
GL all.
@hunter Are you particularly confident on one of your bets above? I want to chuck one (or two if you’re uber confident on more than one) of your recommended bets in my Saturday accumulator
My points stakes is my confidence level! I’m only part-way through researching tomorrow’s games but I’m calling it a night and should have more early tomorrow UK time. Good luck with your NSW bet.
Mitre Cup
North Harbour v Bay of Plenty 2.35 am
North Harbour winning margin 1-12
All North Harbour’s wins have come at home and two of four have come in this margin. Bay of plenty can’t win away but usually put points on the board.
Worth a pop for 2.75 @ Bet365
GL if you follow
43-34 North Harbour win
**WINNER**
Mitre Cup
Auckland v Otago
Otago +7 spread
Evens @ Bet365
Mid Prem team plays top of the Championship team. Tough one to call but Aucklands form at home hasn’t been great, losing the lat two. Otago will be a bit fresher and with wet and windy weather, the game becomes more of a lottery. Fancy Otago ML but would like the comfort of 7 points.
GL if you follow
Otago need to score next or its all over.

Apologies for the lack of write-ups today.

I have quite a few bets up today and it’s maybe not wise to follow all of them, I am prone to have a blow-out after a good week! It’s not quite the 23 bets I had on one day last season but it’s still quite a few so I’d air on the side of caution.

COME ON THE BOYS
TV college games tonight. Oklahoma state -2.5 20/21 v Texas longhorns and Tennessee volunteers -3.5 20/23v Georgia bulldogs. Nice to see you back hunter and producing nice picks. Will have to look out for the doddies again this season.
Afternoon gents, with a bucket load of college ball games to choose from, I have picked out a few that I am quietly confident will come on;
Miami @ Georgia Tech (22:00) – Miami -3
Texas @ Oklahoma State (17:00) – Texas +9
San Jose State @ New Mexico (21:00) New Mexico -6
Treble pays 1.5/1
A slightly more ambitious 4 fold includes 2 of the previous games;
Miami -6
New Mexico -7
Tennessee @ Georgia (20:30) – Tennessee ML
Oklahoma @ TCU (22:00) – Oklahoma ML
4 Fold pays 4.6/1
All my bets are done with relatively small stakes anyway, so bet what you can loose and good luck if you follow!
Done a cheeky fiver on your accumulater just for fun prime time
Nice to see you back. With the college tips
Thanks pal, hope you have been well! Sorry, never saw your post earlier as you must have posted as I was writing mine but yeah, a few good games on tonight, I am just hoping I have picked out the right ones!
NFL Week 4
I’ve already posted reasoning for the total points in London so won’t add that again. But here are week 4’s props with a small reasoning.
The Sunday night primetime game see’s and AFC showdown between two playoff hopefuls. The Chiefs head to Heinz Field to play the Steelers who will be looking to bounce back from their blowout in Philly last weekend where there could only get 250 yards of offense. They do have a huge boost with LeVeon Bell back and I expect him to get a big workload to make sure they get back to winning ways. The Chiefs will also be getting a superstar back in Jamaal Charles, but will likely ease him into the game as he’s coming off a knee injury rather than Bell coming from a ban.
Chiefs kicker Cairo Santos ha splayed the Saints in each of the last two seasons and has hit three or more field goals in both contests. The Eagles moved the ball with relative ease last week, and the Chiefs will be able to do the same with Kelce and Maclin. Charles with also give the Steelers D something to think of, as will Alex Smith running the ball himself. They’ll get their points and I’ll chance them to hit two field goals as TD’s are always tougher on the road with crowd noise etc.
The Bills vs Patriots (Ryan vs Belicheck) is always a funny one because Ryan likes to try and get under Belichecks skin. Which is never usually a good thing because it almost always backfires. This week he hasn’t said much and it’s because he’s had to put his star wide receiver Sammy Watkins on IR, which is a massive loss. They handled Arizona well at home last week, and while the public pumped money into Arizona the sharps kept coming for Buffalo, but this will be different. The Patriots have now said Garappoli will start and Brissett is available, so all is fine at 3-0 with the return of Tom Brady next week. Never back against Belicheck, especially at home, and I’m not going to Sunday.
The New Orleans Saints season is effectively over already. Going back to 1980, there have been 164 teams to start a season 0-3, with only five of them going on to make the playoffs. That’s 3%. Cue the Saints who are going to California on a short week after their division loss to Atlanta on Monday night. Originally I was going to have Drew Brees’ passing yards as a nap for this game, but PP have them at 319.5 right now. Still reachable but obviously there will be a bookie with a smaller total sometime tomorrow so look out for that. The Chargers and Saints are both hurting in the secondary so both QB’s should have decent numbers. Willie Snead is feeling good about playing Sunday so that’s another big threat back as he’s been one of Drew’s main targets and it will give Cooks some breathing room. Coby Fleener also combined well last week and both teams should get points.

Jacksonville Jaguars/Indianapolis Colts Over 48.5 Total Points @ 5/6 @ 365 – 3 points
Rest of Week 4
New England Patriots ML
Jaguars/Colts Over 41.5 Total Points
81/100 @ 888sport – 5 points
Add; Chargers/Saints Over 40.5 Total Points @ 7/6 @ 888sport – 3 points
Kansas City Chiefs Over 1.5 Field Goals @ 4/5 @ 365 – 10 points
Will add some props tomorrow if I find some better total. Only really PP and 888sport at the moment with markets. Trying to limit myself too to reduce possible damage. Think these are well in with a chance though as I’ve only missed out by a point or two so far each week.
Argentina v New Zealand
New Zealand -18.5 point spread
Defence is not a key attribute for Argentina and although they beat SA at home, SA were very poor. Would not expect the same from NZ. Reverse fixture difference was 35 points.
GL if you follow
Great game on late tonight Louisville (3) v clemston(5) being pitched as a playoff game already and its only week5
NFL Week 4 Player Props
Dwayne Washington (Detroit Lions) Over 46.5 Rushing Yards @ 11/13@ Bwin – 3.25 points – Line is low based on his averages so far this season. His only game with 10+ carries this season was last week against the Packers who through three games are the leagues best rush defence only giving up 1.8 yards per carry. Washington has a good match up in Chicago against a Bears defense who gave up 140 yards to Elliott last week.
Dennis Pitta (Baltimore Ravens) Over 49.5 Receiving Yards @ 5/6 @ PP – 3 points – Pitta should once again get targets a plenty at home to Oakland. The Raiders have given up 239 yards to Tight Ends in the last two weeks. Pitta has seen 20 targets in his last two games and should find space across the middle for Flacco.
