IT'S as you were in the bookies challenge with Paul Petrie of McBookie basically beating William Hill's Owen Scott 1-0.

Owen writes: Another two out of three for me last weekend. Again so close but no cigar but at least I'm getting closer each week so it's got to just be a matter of time before my first treble of the season lands and I hope it's just like waiting on a bus and others will arrive straight after it.
This week I'm starting with the side who let me down last week and that's Largs at 10-11. Largs are still looking for their first league win this season and I reckon this is the week as they play host to Neilston.
I head North for my next pick and I'm taking Hermes at 4-5 to win at table-toppers Maud. Hermes have already beaten Maud this season in a cup final and this will be a match that will see Maud's unbeaten league record disappear and Hermes' 100 per cent league record stay in tact.
My final selection is back in the West and it's a team I took earlier this season when these sides met in the Scottish Cup. I'm on Shettleston at 10-11 to win away to Ardeer after already beating them at home this season.

Paul writes: First up I am going for Auchinleck to beat Petershill at 4-9. Talbot slipped up last week with a shock defeat to Arthurlie and it isn’t often they lose two in a row
Next I am on St Andrews to beat Arniston also at 4-9. Saints were hammered last week to Tayport so will want to get their campaign back on track and this should be a winnable game.
Finally, I am going for the draw in the Maud v Hermes game at 16-5. Both teams have been well backed for the title and while Hermes are a shorter price in the betting both teams will be happy to avoid defeat
