Andy Murray (1-50, William Hill) is back on court in the US Open tonight against world No.123 Dustin Brown (25-1, boylesports) and another comfortable work-out beckons for the Scot at Flushing Meadows.
The world No.4 began his Grand Slam bid with a straight sets victory over Slovak Lukas Lacko and I would be surprised if 25-year-old Jamaican Brown doesn't suffer the same fate in New York. However, another straight-sets victory for the British No.1 (1-4, Hill, bet365) isn't particularly tempting.
Murray has suffered the odd blip heading to Flushing Meadows. He won 10 matches in total in Los Angeles, Toronto and Cincinnati but was pushed to three sets in half of them.
Therefore a mid-match lull in the New York heat against a rank outsider with nothing to lose might be worth a small wager. Brown to go down 3-1 is available at Blues Square and 888sport for 11-2.
William Hill are, however, offering 1-2 there will be no tie-break in the match and that's one of the few decent offers you are likely to get anywhere.
Murray will be happy to ease his way into the match and Ladbrokes odds of 4-7 on Brown winning his first service game is also worth a look.
