NOT an easy card on Saturday and the way it's fallen there is a serious Super Sunday to look forward to.

Most of my bets are reasoned on the Scottish and English previews and check out all the other tips from other posters.

Last night was a close but no cigar night. My Super Single was a toss-up between Aberdeen to win and Aberdeen to score 2+ and I went for the latter. Las Palmas not scoring beat the Top Treble which could have been covered at half-time in the Spanish game.

Well done to Greg and Jordan for their winners and to anyone else too.

Let's hope for a good Saturday – and I've decided to go with Leicester draw no bet as the Super Single. It was going to be Motherwell draw no bet at Hearts at 8-5 but Louis Moult has been ruled out for the rest of the year so I'll pick a different one.

My moneyback acca has been reduced from 8-1 to 5-1 with the Peterhead game off so I'll go with a 2pt stake.

Albion Rovers v Arbroath is off too so my over 2.5 goals treble becomes a double.

Success in Wales earlier this evening and well done to all winners – some great shouts on a really tight card!

Same rules apply for the later overseas games but having turned over a few stones, there is a couple of games that may offer fair value…

    BAHIA U20 VS. CORINTHIANS U20 (2330 KO):

As we approach the festive season, games get fewer and far between – I’ve had a bit of success with the SA Youth Tournaments over the past two seasons which will be active over the coming weeks.

Obscure yes, but followed carefully there really are some belting bets to be found – I’ll open my account with this one but stakes best kept low.

Of the 24 Copa RS games played so far, 17 have seen both teams netting; the combined last 12 matches for either side have seen btts get the green light on 9 occasions and with the previous H2H between the two seeing a
3-2 scoreline, I reckon there’s plenty of scope for goals here.

    Agree on Wolves Mr F

15:00 Wolverhampton Wanderers vs Sunderland – Prediction 3.1
Best Bets – Wolves to score 2 or more @1/2, BTTS @6/5, Wolves to win and BTTS @9/4

    Current Form

    * Wolves have scored 2 goals or more in each of their last 7 home league fixtures
    * Wolves have scored 3 goals or more in 4 of their last 7 home league fixtures
    * Wolves have scored 2 goals or more in 8 of their 10 most recent league fixtures
    * Wolves have seen BTTS and over 2.5 goals in 5 of their last 7 home league fixtures
    * Wolves have won 9 of their last 10 league fixtures
    * Wolves have won each of their last 6 home league fixtures
    * Wolves have won and seen BTTS in 4 of their last 6 home league fixtures
    * Wolves are 4 points clear of 2nd placed Cardiff and 10 points clear of 3rd placed Bristol City
    * Wolves are already 33 points ahead of Sunderland after just 20 matches played
    * Sunderland have conceded 2 goals or more in 6 of their last 9 away matches (all comps)
    * Sunderland have conceded 2 goals or more in 9 of their last 12 league matches
    * Sunderland have only won 1 of their last 18 league matches
    * Sunderland have scored in 8 of their 10 away league fixtures this season
    * Sunderland have seen BTTS in 7 of their 10 away league fixtures with over 2.5 goals scored in 5 of those 7 matches
    * Sunderland have seen BTTS in 11 of their last 13 league fixtures

    Past Meetings

    * 11 of the last 12 meetings saw BTTS although it has been more than 5 years since these two sides last met

    Final Verdict

Wolves are in fine fettle and Sunderland are well, Sunderland.

Chris Coleman made the rather odd decision to leave Wales for the sinking Sunderland ship and while he did manage a win at Burton in his first match in charge, it was back to normal in their last outing with Reading winning 3.1 at the Stadium of Light to remind the likeable Welshman, if he needed it, just how big a job he has on his hands in the North East.

A trip to Wolves is certainly the last thing Coleman would have wanted for his struggling side with the league leaders really stepping up the gas in their last 2 home fixtures, slamming 4 past Leeds and then 5 past Bolton. It certainly doesn’t bode well for Sunderland here and Wolves to score just 2 or more seems pretty generous @1/2 odds. I’ll take that while I also fancy the hosts to get 3 or more at the very tempting price of 6/4 odds.

Despite their dismal form, Sunderland have made a habit of scoring on the road and their form away from home is certainly better than that at the ironically named Stadium of Light. Indeed the Wearside men have won NONE of their last 23 at home while they have at least managed to win 2 of their 10 away matches in the Championship this season.

While a home win seems more than likely, BTTS is more of an outside chance here @6/5 odds against but considering Sunderland have scored in 8 out of 10 on the road this season, and Wolves have conceded in 5 out of 7 at home, it does seem a bit over-priced.

I’m very confident in backing Wolves to score 2 or more @1/2 while all of the other odds against selections certainly have a chance.

Looks solid enough. I gave my shout on the Wolves v Sunderland game a couple of days ago and got shout down for suggesting Wolves could score a bag full. I’ve seen the team news and with Gibson and Cattermole in their midfield and I haven’t changed my stance.
Another bet I’ve seen on William Hill at 19/5 I like the look of is Wolves to win, Jota to score and Cattermole to get booked.

1 Other tip for goals in the Championship comes at Hull of course.

    5:00 Hull vs Brentford – Prediction 2.2
Best Bets – BTTS @1/2, BTTS and over 2.5 goals @4/5, Hull to score 2 or more @6/5

    Current Form

    * Hull have seen BTTS and over 2.5 goals scored in EACH of their last 6 home league fixtures
    * Hull have seen BTTS in 12 of their last 14 league fixtures and in 16 of their 20 league games this season
    * Hull have seen BTTS in 9 of their 10 home league fixtures this season
    * Hull have seen Over 2.5 goal scored in 9 of their 10 home league fixtures this season
    * Hull have scored 25 goals in those 10 home league fixtures
    * Hull scored 2 goals or more in 7 of those 10 fixtures
    * Only the top two sides in the league have scored more goals than Hull this season, but only the bottom three have conceded more.
    * Hull’s last 5 home league fixtures have averaged 5 goals per game
    * Hull’s 10 home league fixtures have averaged 4.4 goals per game
    * Hull have scored in 18 of their last 19 home league fixtures
    * Hull have not won any of their last 7 league matches. They lost 4 and drew 3 of those 7 games
    * Brentford have scored 2 goals or more in 5 of their last 6 away league fixtures
    * Brentford have seen Over 2.5 goals scored in 5 of their last 7 away league fixtures. 4 of those 5 also saw BTTS
    * Brentford have conceded 2 goals or more in 6 of their last 9 away league fixtures including 4 of their 5 last on the road
    * Brentford have seen BTTS in 4 of their last 5 league fixtures
    * Brentford have lost more points from winning positions than any other team in the division this season
    * Brentford’s last 5 away league fixtures have averaged 3.4 goals per game
    * 129 goals have been scored in the 40 matches involving these two sides this season. That’s an average of 3.2 goals per game

    Past Meetings

    * Hull won 2.0 in their last 2 meetings with Brentford 18 and 22 months ago

    Final Verdict

Without a win in 7, Hull made the decision last Sunday to sack Russian head coach Leonid Slutsky, and with the arrival of new boss Nigel Adkins confirmed on Friday, I expect the home side to put in a good performance in front of their new gaffer against a Brentford side that also like to get on the front foot in search for goals.

Of course, this can only mean one outcome; Goals. Surely?

Hull have scored 2 goals or more in 7 of their last 10 at home but clean-sheets have been virtually non-existent and I can’t see anything other than BTTS @1/2 odds here. Brentford have scored and conceded 2 goals in 4 of their last 5 away league fixtures while Hull have scored and conceded 2 goals or more in 4 of their last 5 home league fixtures.

Clearly both sides like to attack but defensive mistakes have cost them higher league positions than the 20th and 11th placings achieved so far as we head into the 2nd half of the season and I expect an entertaining and free-scoring match that could easily finish with both sides scoring a couple.

I’m taking the obvious selections of BTTS @1/2 and over 2.5 goals @4/7. The double is short @4/5 but looks as reliable as any other selection of this nature this weekend. while Hull to score 2 or more @6/5 looks too big to me, particularly considering their own goal-scoring form at home, and the goals conceded by Brentford in their recent away matches.

    Small Stake:

First selection is a cautionary one but one that might represent a little bit of value. I fancy Chelsea to create plenty of chances in the lunchtime kickoff and one man at the centre of much of their recent good work is Eden Hazard. He has been in prolific form since returning from injury – and not just in terms of goals and assists. Freed up by Chelsea’s switch from 3-4-3 to 3-5-2, Hazard has had far less defensive responsibilities and instead finds himself in dangerous positions on a regular basis.

One side of his game that has improved in conjunction with this is his goalscoring and, naturally, he finds himself getting a lot more shots in at goal than he used to. In fact, Cesc Fabregas twice called him out in post-match interviews last season for lacking selfishness – that selfishness those TOP players possess. He criticised him for not shooting when in good positions, for not wanting that 2nd or 3rd goal. After the game against Newcastle, Hazard conceded to the press that he has ‘started to shoot more’ and referenced comments and encouragements he’d been given to do so by teammates.

With Morata a sudden injury doubt tomorrow (though Hazard himself may have a niggle), Hazard will only be further relied upon in the False 9 role if the Spaniard misses out and Michy finds himself benched.

I can’t see this one being too far away at a fair price.

Very tough card on paper today. A lot of the teams in poor form are playing at home which always makes things more difficult. Today I’m on two away sides to score.

First up is Leicester at St James’ where the toon have lost five of their last six. Leicester seem to have shaken off their title winning hangover this season, and I like them to grab a goal tonight.

Second team is Rennes at Metz in Ligue 1. The hosts have lost 14 of their 16 games this season. They’ve conceded 2+ in five of their last six, 3+ in three of those games, and face a Rennes side who have won 6 of their last seven league games.

    Leicester To Score – 5:30PM
    Rennes To Score – 7:00PM

I like the look of both the jets tgs and goal time in the final a league game.
Over 1.5 tgs evens ( full stake)
Goal before 46:00 5/6 (half stake)

The jets have netted at least twice in every away match so far apart from against high flying Sydney where they managed 1 but should’ve had more. If they can replicate last weeks first half performance against Melbourne city for the full 90 then I don’t see why both of these shouldn’t land

This looks a great bet @sean567 the Jets have been great for goals this season and are the A league’s top scorers. Perth are hit and miss but are generally poor at the back so I’m happy to also go with a point on the following:

      Jets score both halves 2/1
      Nabbout ATGS 11/5

Nabbout is on fire with 4 in his last 5 as he has led the attack with O’Donovon out injured.

I wouldn’t be surprised if these 3 teams actually win their respective games but I’m taking the double chance safer option.

Jamie Vardy should enjoy himself playing against a poor Newcastle team.
    Vardy (atgs) 5/4
Vardy (2 or more goals) 13/2

    Morning gents

As I tend to do on a Saturday I’ll
Be mainly focusing on the Scottish games –

Apologies for the lack of write up, Short for time, don’t need to say too much about the NAP – when Ayr play there are goals and this Forfar side although good for a goal can’t defend

    Ayr v Queen’s Park
    Forfar v Alloa

Back over 2.5 match goals double 7/4 ( William Hill) (NAP)

    Wolves v Sunderland

I’m a Man City fan and I’m not too confident going into the game tomorrow, plenty of value bets around and be three I like the look of are:
    United DNB 5/4
    United over 1.5 tg 13/8
Fellaini ATGS 6/1 (expect to drop if he is declared fit)
Should be an open game as a draw really isn’t much good for United so as Mr F says over 2.5 or even over 3.5 goals should be on the cards

Tonight is the night, the mls cup final! Tipped Toronto on here several times during the season at a high of 7/1, I backed them at 13/2 and hopefully they will bring me a nice Christmas bonus.
It’s a repeat of last season’s final against Seattle where Seattle won on penalties. Toronto have been very strong all season but performances have dipped in the playoffs which is concerning, meanwhile Seattle had another slow start to the se1ason and hitting form at the right time.

It should be a cracker, live on sky at 9pm so tune in for some Saturday night entertainment.

    Derby teams news:

    Carson
    Baird/Keogh/Davies/Forsyth
    Huddlestone/Ledley
    Weimann/Vydra/Lawrence
    Martin

Just 2 changes from the side that scraped a 1 nil at home to Burton. Olsson in left-back swapped back to Forsyth and Thorne steps aside for the returning Huddlestone.

Last time out, Burton came to Pride park and parked the bus. It took 82 mins for substitute Russell to break the deadlock, but apart from that, Burton kept 11 behind the ball for much of the match. – people should be cautious about that kind of play. I get why struggling teams do it but it makes for dreadful viewing.
Ipswich did the same a few weeks ago, they got a corner on 6 mins, Waghorn took it, goal-line technology gave the goal. Ipswich then parked the bus and grabbed the spoils. I think Mick McCarthy knopw how to play against certain sides.

Today we travel to Barnsley who beat us 3-2 at oakwell earlier in the campaign in the caraboo cup. We played a mixture of fringe players and players needing match fitness. I wouldn’t read too much in to it.
The Rams are unbeaten on the road in 6- most recent WWWWDDL the loss was away to Bristol in early September. Barnsley have lost the last 4 home and away and they seem stuck in a rut.

I have no idea why Derby are 5/4, I think its generous with betfair. Vydra hasn’t scored in 2 games, yet he averages a goal every 93 mins. He’s due a goal. Martin has a terrific strike rate against Barnsley, I think 7 goals in 9 games. I think this game will be very different to the last 2 bus-parkers, Barnsley will use the home advantage and expect to take something from the game, that should give us space to play and goals.

Even though we’ve 8 clean sheets, Derby have not looked solid at the back, I therefore think a Derby win/overs 2.5 tmg’s is a great shout at 13/5 with betfair.

    I have a separate acca
    Derby win 5/4
    Wolves 3/10
    Tottenham 3/10
    West Brom 21/10
    Notts Forest 4/5

£10 on this with betfair ought to return £210 + loose change

    good luck guys

Disappointing day – postponements affecting 3 of the 4 bets, 2 of which are totally void. The only bet left standing was let down by a poor Chelsea finding nothing in the face of West Ham’s banks of 5 and 4. Hazard had two shots, but both were off target.

Half stake effort given all the void bets:

    Quick ht summary on Barnsley/Derby:

Derby have dictated play for 45 mins, there have been chances but they’ve all belonged to Derby. As the game has progressed, we’ve looked stronger and Barnsley seem out of their depth. Barnsley had a bit of a go at us early on but it came to nothing much.
Derby’s Ledley took an elbow in the face early on, the ref missed it, Martin has been shoved over the bollards narrowly missing a face plant into the framework – the ref missed it. I guess Derby have got right in the Barnsleys faces. Derby’s Tom Lawrence swiped one from on the deck to make it 1 nil the rams – it was only a matter of time . That was on 39 mins, Derby then extended the lead with Vydra – now on 12 goals. Shortly before ht, Lawrence took a nasty challenge and might be subbed. We’ve finished the half 2 up and down to 10 men. I guess the physio’s will take a look and assess but if he’s injured, it will be a blow since his contribution has been quality.
We look great value for a third. I just hope we get one before Barnsley react. If we manage a third without reply, it will empty the stadium and you’ll see a cricket score.

3 nil Derby, nice goal from Weimann. Barnsley brought on Adam Hamill who’s inclusion the last time we played turned the game on its head. Barnsley upped their tempo and seemed to be getting back into the game, but Derby hit them on the break and its 3 nil. We’ve had the chances to make this a rout but i’ll take the nailed on Derby win/overs 2.5tmgs @ 13/5.

Derby still don’t look like they’re taking the foot off the gas. If the results stay the same, we’ll be up to 4th and 10 points from the top.

FYI: I think we are now unbeaten in 15/16/17 games played in December, its something like 10 or 11 wins and 5 draws I think ( purple patch ).

I think that the way Wolves were held 0-0 at home to almost bottom Sunderland serves as a warning shot to anyone who thinks a heavily fancied high-riding home favourite should be a shoe in for the points.
Ipswich grabbed the pts after just 6 mins at Derby, Burton parked the bus for 90+ minutes ( took us 83mins ) to get a goal and today Sunderland snatched no doubt a hard earned point. Those basement boys are going to wreck many acca’s come the end of the season.
I therefore think its reasonable to factor in this when we’re choosing our selections. Its probably more sensible to look for home favourites chasing promotion against a side that’s shooting for a top 6-10 finish. The games are much more open.

Have to disagree with you Jim.Since i found this site,i have had many winning lines.
There are so many good tipsters on here, and yes im including yourself as one.
Ive been betting on football for at least 35yrs,started at the side door of the Empire Bar in Burnbank,Hamilton doing 50p lines at the age of 14 haha..and yes have probably lost many a thousands & thousands, but when you get that winning coupon, albeit 500 or 2000 quid, theres no feeling like it,NOT even sex (dont tell the wifey lol)
Keep your chin up,have faith & keep those winning tips coming.

Crazy day for me, Wolves must have let a lot of people down while Sevilla forgot to turn up at Real Madrid. All 3 top bets beaten by 1 leg. Thankfully my 4fold clawed back some of the damage while I landed a 50/1 4-fold in the evening thanks to some draws @moenchengladbach and Inter. Still, only 50p on that but I’m not complaining (or bragging)
