St Patrick's v Norrkoping looks a decent game and Cork face Progres Niedercorn for the right to meet Rangers in the next round.
I've had some laptop problems this morning but I've picked out a treble. Start with seasoned Euro pros Legia Warsaw at Gibraltar minnows Europa. We saw how poor St Joseph's were against Rangers and Europa are of a similar standard so the Poles should be able to win by at least two.
Norrkoping have been in good form in Sweden with Jordan Larsson, son of Henrik, banging in the goals. They should be good enough to win at St Patrick's.
Complete the treble with Malmo -2 against part-timers Ballymena. Malmo have been dominant in Sweden and won seven out of eight at home this season and scored 21. They'll beat Ballymena and for my sake I'm hoping they cover the -2 handicap.
Well done to all the winners last night – my Top Treble lacked a Dundalk goal and the 1pt Super Single beaten when Sadio Mane didn't net first for Senegal.

I went for goals again yesterday and there were 17 in the three games I selected, unfortunately there was only 2 in the Nomme United game. Greg highlighted a massive shift in odds on Nomme to win from 1/6 to 10/11 an hour before kickoff and I had a bad feeling that this would affect my goals treble.
The 0.4pts 25/1 treble was looking good after the first two landed and I was offered 3.7pts cash out which I was tempted to take but decided to leave it till half time in the Valur v Maribor game (backed as a draw) but Maribor breached the Valour defence in the 42nd minute and then went on to win the game 0-3.
First loss for about 3 weeks so shouldn’t be too hard on myself. Onwards to todays card.

With a few minutes to go, I was resigned to a loss but chuffed enough that the gamble hadn’t gone totally tits up… then the Icelandic Gods chipped in with that all important Keflavik goal 😀

Prices are as short as 4/11 for Fjolnir here and whilst I understand how those prices have been generated on recent standings and form, tjere’s a significant history between these two that goes back a long way.
Yes, Fjolnir currently sit top but Keflavik aren’t too far behind with a gap of just 5 points – more notably, Fjolnir have had a lot of wins but very fre have been convincing scorelines…I sense their old Urvalsdeild foes may run them a little tighter than those pesky bookmakers reckon!
I’ve no idea how many of these match-ups I’ve followed over the years but I do know even from memory that they have nearly all been close affairs.

Took me five minutes to add them all up on a calculator but in total we had 131 goals (117 after 16:30). Shame the goals dried up in the later games having started so well. Just about broke even.
