IT'S always nice to land a winner and even sweeter when it's totally unexpected. My only bet on Monday was a Super Single double and Fleetwood looked to have beaten it.
Uwe Rosler's League One side were 1-0 down and a man down to minnows Chorley in the FA Cup but came alive at the end to win with a fairly fortunate injury-time goal.
Earlier over 1.5 match goals had come in at Nuremberg and the over 2.5 also landed in Germany for those who decided to go with the riskier 9-5 double.
Tonight it's the EFL Trophy and not much else. I find these matches tough to call but there are often plenty of goals and in general league sides will beat the academy outfits.
In the North groups Leicester and Newcastle are the only academy outfits from eight to have won a game and in the South it's a bit better with Fulham, West Ham, Swansea and Southampton having triumphed.
Swansea with three victories and West Ham with two are the only academy teams with more than one. The likes of Chelsea, Spurs and Man City have none and considering the young international teams have enjoyed a fantastic year I'm not sure what that says about the state of the game down south.
Only six of the Under-21 sides are in action tonight and another tomorrow.
One team for stands out tonight and that's Shrewsbury. The League One leaders have won two out of two in Group E and in all competitions have won nine out of 10 at home.
They should make it three out of three against nearest Group A rivals Walsall and while resting players would be a concern the Shews don't have a game at the weekend so manager Paul Hurst can put out a strong side.
If it wasn't for a positive Super Singles total I'd leave this until teams were revealed so bear in mind that's something you might want to do. I thought about a goals bet but just backed Greg's over 2.5 goals treble.

Macca the release clause is a lot more then £800k. That was the figure for his last contract. He signed a new one after knocking back Sunderland. And the figure was increased. Going by Rangers latest financial results they can’t afford him.

The figure being quoted for McInnes and coaches is £700k – clubs will sort a deal out if McInnes tells Aberdeen he wants to go.
He didn’t need to sign that new contract and he’s done well for them so they won’t stand in his way or make it difficult.
