IT was another cracking day for goals and well done to everyone with winners including Jordan and Greg.
I had a mixed day with Heerenveen beating the Super Single and goals treble while Nice's collapse against Marseille beat the Top Treble.
However, my main aim on Sunday was to keep the Betting Club alive as I try to finish my £10 to £1000 challenge.
Over 1.5 goals at Atalanta came in early so I'm on just over £900. If it was my decision I'd call it quits – after all £900 from a tenner is good going – but admin want to go all the way and my next bet is likely to be on World Cup qualifiers on Thursday.
I need a 1-9 shot to get over the line but of course could go with two 1-18s and increase the tension. At first glance I have two short ones that stand out – England to score at home to Slovenia at 1-10 and Norway to score 2+ away to San Marino at 1-9. Any suggestions will be welcomed.
My members bet for October also won well at 11-5 and I'm hoping that makes a good profit this month.
It will be a quiet few days in the lead-up to the internationals and I'm not planning to put up a bet unless I see something that catches my eye or I could put together a treble from best bets posted – so I'll see what comes in.
