Top Football Tips

IT'S the final day of the Premier League and just one issue to be settled – and it's the big one.

Man City and Liverpool have been neck and neck all season and it looks like the Anfield men will lose the title having suffered just one defeat. A consolation prize could come in the shape of being crowned European champions but that's for another day.

City must beat Brighton away to seal the deal and I'm on them to win to nil. A 2-0 City success looks about right unless they ease nerves early with an early goal and go on the rampage. Kevinmac has posted a Brighton vs Man City preview.

Liverpool will probably match City's result but have a tougher test at home to a Wolves side who have saved their bets stuff for matches against the top six.

I've revised the English preview I posted on Friday and cover most of the games. Pride and place money is all that's up for grabs and we could see some weakened teams – Watford for sure ahead of the FA Cup Final and Arsenal, Spurs and Chelsea after Euro heroics and with only finals to come.

In Scotland it's the final Old Firm game of the season and I've revise the Rangers vs Celtic preview that was posted on Friday.

Not the easiest of days but I've picked out some goals trebles – staying away from WDW bets today.

For a Super Single I'm backing City to win with under 3.5 goals. Likely to be tense, especially if they're made to wait for the opener, but reckon they'll get the job done.

Saturday's card was as I said beforehand pretty tough and Greg was the star of the show with Serie B goals bets and Scottish both to score double landing. Well done to all the other winners.

Best I was hoping for was break even but Portsmouth failed to net against 10-man Sunderland to beat my btts treble and I need Torino to win at lunchtime for moneyback on the fivefold.

I was let down by Livingston who made more changes than expected against Dundee and also left out skipper Craig Halkett who has been their talisman for a few seasons now. He's on his way to Hearts but was fit enough to only make the bench.

Unfortunately Livi were also the Super Single and wouldn't have been with Halkett out. I changed to them at the last minute from Cove -1 but that's the way it goes sometimes.

Mr Fixit I fancy Simunovic to score too. He’s so confident and will always be up for corners now after scoring two. As you have pointed out Simunovic is 14/1 to score anytime which is fairly generous. You can also get 40/1 for him first goal scorer with BlackBet which is good. Prices are 20/1 and 22/1 with most other bookies so they’ve obviously taken his recent goal contributions into consideration with their prices. I see it as a low scorer and I have a really strong feeling that Celtic are going to win 1-0. 1-0 Simunovic is 150/1 but bizarrely Simunovic first and last is 450/1. Throw in Simunovic to get booked and you’re up to 1500/1.

    Recommended Bets

    Simunovic First Goalscorer @ 40/1
    Simunovic Anytime Goalscorer @ 14/1
    Simunovic First/Last Goal @ 450/1
    Simunovic First/Last and carded @ 1500/1

    Good luck everyone

im sorry but there isnt a cats chance in hell of brighton stopping a full strength fully motivated man city side

city play a different level of football to the rest liverpool are good

but they arent city and to be honest ive not been blown away with liverpool this year , if anything i feel they were better last year although they have focused a lot more on the defensive aspect of the game and probably are the best in that department

anyway my NAP today is leciester and im going in big on them

sarri isnt a good fit for chelsea he can only play football one way and in the prem that will get you found out quickly

chelsea were abismall against frankfurt on thursday and should never of made it through

talisman hazards mind looks elsewhere …..they have catastrophic problems in defence and the strikers are past their use by dates

i can see rodgers leciester enjoying themselves today

thought leciester really caused problems for man city last week

    leciester- win NAP
    leicester -1

will wait for line ups tbc but il be doing some chelsea booking accas too

I don’t think anyone expects Brighton to beat City,it would be a major shock if they did,as for City being better than Liverpool,i disagree with that 100%.Liverpool are stronger than City and since the addition of Allison and Van Djik they have absolutely no need to go gung ho in games as they know they can score anytime.City on the other hand play one way and thats the reason why they have lost four games this season and the same reason why they never do any good in Europe.

I’ve backed Rangers to score a pen at 9/1 with B365.

Lets just say its overdue, after 27 Old Firm games in a row without any penalties awarded to Rangers.
That stat will probably shock many (esp given how many pens they’ve had lately) but the stats are there.

Tavernier very rarely misses pens but anything is possible in this match and that can be easily covered at 20/1 (also with B365)

Skybet aren’t daft eh. Worst bookies out there in terms of prices and chose not to offer specials on the EPL and Germany today.

Total Goals would have romped home in both

    🇳🇴 11 games kicking of at 5pm 🇳🇴

Going to chuck some loose change in all games goal in the first half 25/1 and all games over 1.5 goals 10/1

Fantastic result today for English football…all we have to do now is make our Spanish friends in Madrid aware they must not go anywhere near a fountain in their beautiful city on June 1st because unfortunately some chavs from the UK might push them in..!!!

For me Liverpool were the best team to watch this year and it’s extremely unlucky not to win the league with only 1 defeat. Not really bothered who won it but I do hope they hammer spurs in the CL final.

Ive had a few digs at you Macca over the last few months, but cant fault yer passion and devotion tae yer Liverpool. They done you proud and can call themselves very unlucky to come up against a formidable team like Man city.Next season will be a cracker no doubt, and I for one, hope its as exciting as this season.Good luck on June 1st,hope yous hump Spurs ( Don’t like them because of some London Pr*ck I detested in Cardiff lol )….All the best……..Sasa
