WELL done anyone who chose to take in Wimbledon v Peterborough yesterday. That was a decent 2-2 draw and in the other games pretty much nothing happened.
Switzerland v Nothern Ireland wasn't the worst 0-0 draw but Greece v Croatia was as bad as it gets. TNS v QoS was also 0-0 (after extra time) so my Super Single was voided. We also has Honduras 0, Australia 0 and New Zealand 0, Peru 0. What a great day it would have been to back no scorers.
My only other bet was a double that went down when the Swiss failed to convert any of their many chances as they limped into the World Cup finals.
Tonight it's Italy v Sweden and surely that will be a better game with the Italians on the verge of a shock exit after a 1-0 defeat in Stockholm. I've posted a separate preview.
Apart from that there's not much else happening – a few friendlies I don't fancy tipping – so it while it could be a no-bet day I've decided to risk a Super Single on Italy -1AH.
That opinion goes against some on here but I'm banking the Italians to rise to the occasion and get the job done but they could be in trouble if they concede an away goal.

We didn’t see that Italy have had any motivation to get together and stronger in the group stages , Can they do the job at last ?
There is warmer climate in Milano , (about 7 degrees in the evening) than in Stockholm where it approached the freezing point. Series A stars are technically better and can be more offensive than what shown on Friday. Even though there has been a continuous dissatisfaction with the game in squad and italian media, i am backing Italians to win
