I ENJOYED watching the winners land for everyone on Friday and it's great to see French Ligue 2 behaving itself.
Greg tipped over 1.5 goals in all matches and it came up for the second week running – and Jordan's goals bet on Ajaccio also landed in the final minute.
As usual on a Friday my time was limited so it was a no-bet day although I recommended both to score at Hamilton v Rangers and that landed early.
Today potentially looks decent and I've posted Scottish and English previews that cover most of my tips.
On Wednesday I put up a post with a moneyback fivefold in order to get a price and it's been cut from 9-1 to 15-2 at Ladbrokes.
It's the last day of the month and while the Super Singles have done reasonably well and will end in profit the accumulators have been hit and miss as is expected. I was 20pts down then got it back to -1.5pts but a poor weekend means I need a good day to return to profit.
I've posted two Super Singles – Preston to beat struggling Sunderland and Chelsea draw no beat against Man City. Chelsea's win away to Atletico Madrid was mightily impressive and they face a City side who have lost Sergio Aguero and equally importantly Benjamin Mendy. I don't see Chelsea losing.

I’ve mentioned ICT a few times recently – they have a new team, they can score, but they almost always concede. I’ve been on BTTS and Overs the last few weeks and it’s landed for the last 4 in a row. The same market has landed in 4 out of QoS last 5 matches. ICT are at home and should certainly score, just can’t see us keeping a clean sheet. 8/10 times this has landed looking at each teams last 5 matches, which makes the odds pretty generous I think:

Leicesters away record in the PL is quite remarkable. Between April 2015 and April 2016, Leicester won 13, drew 5 and lost just 2. Since then, Leicester have won2, drawn 7 and lost a whopping 15. Quite the downturn in fortunes and while they have had a tough start with fixtures against 4 of the big 6 in their opening 6 fixtures, Leicester have struggled badly in 2017 so I can’t back them here against a Bournemouth side that could really use the points following a tough start of their own.
Given previous meetings, I expect another low scoring affair although BTTS seems almost inevitable considering both sides defensive weaknesses. I fancy a share of the spoils and a 1.1 draw seems the likeliest score outcome.

Goals should be at a premium and a 0.0 draw wouldn’t surprise me either.

Can’t see past a comfortable home win and while Palace have to score eventually this season, it isn’t likely to be here. 13/8 on BTTS tells you the story of the visitors form so 4/7 on a home win to nil makes the most sense with Palace likely to be stodgy and defensive under new boss Hodgson.
A home win by 2 or 3 to nil looks the likeliest outcome here.

Final Verdict
I just can’t split these two sides and considering past form and recent meetings, goals seem likely with each of the last 5 meetings between these two sides going over 2.5 goals.
Both sides are coming into some excellent form so we could well see a thrilling end to end encounter…or a drab 0.0 but that outcome has only occurred once in their previous 30 meetings so I’m backing BTTS and over 2.5 goals in another fixture that could well end up level.
City come into this tie with a 3 point advantage on the champions so a point would certainly not be a bad result for the visitors with Chelsea winning 3 of their last 4 contests against City and with Chelsea so strong at the Bridge, Pep’s men might well be pleased with a point but this is hardly the outcome they will look for so I expect goals and BTTS @8/13 looks likely. Try the double with over 2.5 goals @1/1.
Both managers will have a big part to play in the outcome of this fixture and I would like to see the team news before finalising my selections but I do expect goals for both sides and a draw could well be the final outcome once more.

Dortmund doesn’t always have it easy with Augsburg and this BTTS looks to have every chance, even if Dortmund have been keeping clean sheets in the league so far this season.

Samp are being tipped to win, but with just 1 win in their last 7 on the road, they are priced at 8/5 to claim the win and while they are in good form, I can’t back them here so why not try the Uruguayan Zapata to score anytime @9/4 with the former Udinese man in the mood following his winner over Milan on Wednesday.

I kinda kept this quiet because it sort-of hit me big time last weekend, but essentially, I had a £20 9 way acca through betfair and took the acca edge ( 1 missed result allowed ), so I needed 8 or 9 winners for a 271/1 as opposed to a 9 winners needed for a 281/1 without taking the edge.
I never had any option for a cashout at any time, but my first failure was my own beloved Derby who I was confident would cover the -1 h/c with ease. After trailing to Birmingham at home, we brought on Sam Winnal, an academy product who scored from his first touch in a Rams shirt. It ended 1-1. I then saw 7 winners come in, most were -1 h/c’s, but the biggest kick on the balls was PSG held to a 0-0. I had them on a -1 h/c. I think they were only around 4/9 for that price but their opposition parked the bus. Incidentally, last night, that same team crashed my weekly rolling acca by equalising in the 92nd minute – and I was asleep, so lost the opportunity to cashout. Onwards and upwards though, dust off and start again.
I’m having a very speculative large acca with the edge via betfair, and although I do not fancy our chances away to a high flying Cardiff, I have put Derby on my acca at around 3.5/1 purely for 2 reasons, 1: we’re blowing hot and cold, we could get beaten, but we could also decide to show up. We lost at home to Birmingham and looked 2nd rate against them, then midweek, we go ahead against Brentford and lose out to a late late equaliser. I saw the highlights, it was all Brentford. Disappointed with the Birmingham result, but grateful of the point away to Brentford. The 2nd reason for backing my own team is because I just utterly cannot stand Neil Warnock, he just has that ” blame everyone else ” bit to his personality – spoiler alert – how many times has he been sacked???
My acca is a bit on the large side today, its 13 teams, a few big prices such as Derby and Chelsea wins, I have Villa -1 ( Bolton are the leagues whipping boys ) and a few teams from here there and everywhere – Scotland/Spain and Germany. If it starts looking good, I might give you further updates.
On a word of caution today, especially the championship, I see lots of potential banana skins, so be careful. We’re also 1 day away from Derby’s historical Purple patch ( October/November ).
