IT was a decent night for goals buy myself and Greg were both beaten by the shortage of one strike at Ipswich.
That beat my over 1.5 goals fivefold but my Super Single landed thanks to Cardiff and Fulham not losing. My three tips on the Champions League preview all won including a draw at Sevilla and Ferreyra to score for Shakhtar Donetsk.
On Thursday it's all about the Europa League and I've posted a separate preview focusing on Zenit v Celtic and Arsenal v Ostersunds.
That's the problem with a lot of ties tonight and I'm always reluctant to back sides who don't need to win. As well as Arsenal there were away victories for Lokomotiv Moscow, Bilbao, Atletico Madrid, Milan, Leipzig and Sporting while Marseille take a 3-0 lead to Braga.
My options are fairly limited but for reasons given on the preview post my Super Single is Zenit -1. I hope I'm wrong beacuse it would be good for Scottish football and inject hope into Rangers' and Aberdeen's chances of creating a title fight. But Zenit are formidable at home, Celtic generally struggle on Euro travels and aren't a better side than last season's which must be a frustration for Brendan Rodgers.
Last week the early games were all about goals and the later ones eventually produced.
I'm taking three games where we saw plenty of strikes in the first leg. It was 3-3 at Dortmund and the return at Atalanta should also see both score. Real Sociedad were held 2-2 at home to Salzburg so have to net in Austria to stay in contention and finally take Villarreal v Lyon which finished 3-1 to the French at home.
Other games I considered were the early Lokomotiv Moscow v Nice game which the Russians won 3-2 in France after Nice were reduced to 10 men and Braga v Marseille with the Portuguese needing to a miracle to progress.
I'm not doing WDW bets although I might be tempted after seeing what line-ups the likes of Lazio, Leipzig and Bilbao put out. We know Napoli will play a weakened team in Germany but Rasenballsport could do the same with the tie seemingly settled.

if you bet on zenith with a handicap of -1 goal, they must win by more than one goal to cover their handicap and win you your bet. If they only win by one goal, the result with the handicap applied is a draw and you will get your money back
Just to add, Mr F’s -1 is the straight handicap so if they only win by one goal bet will still lose. Its the -1 Asian handicap where it would be void and stake returned in Kiran’s example
As has been said Zenit -1 means they need to win by two. Simply you take one goal off Zenit at the final whistle.

Atalanta vs Dortmund
Dortmund just cant afford to sit back and hope to hold on to there slender 3-2 lead over the Italians in the first leg. The most notable absentee for the Germans is defensive mid Julian Weigl who is so influential in his role in sitting in front of the centre halves and breaking up attacks, Dortmund do not possess a like for like replacement to his calibre and I cant
see them holding out the Italians. Dortmund have to attack and secure a crucial away goal, Batshauyi seems to adapted well very early on since his loan move from Chelsea netting 3 in 3 Bundesliga apps and 2 in the home encounter against Atalanta. He may very well get on the scoresheet again as Dortmund will look to break quickly with pace through creative outlets Marco Reus and Pulisic amongst others. Atalanta boast the exciting Josip Ilicic who will look to unlock the fragile Dortmund defence again having scored both goals in the away tie, they are at full strength for this fixture and are a team that are taking this competition seriously. The Italians remain strong on there own patch averaging over 1.5 team goals in the league this season, this should be a thrilling end to end game with both teams finding the net and I heavily fancy the additional goal at near evens.

Cheers lads shame about Arsenal what a sheet performance indeed,they are not going to win this comp,they still had a strong team out.
Arsenal are second favourites behind Atletico but the likes of Dortmund, Lazio and even Leipzig look better bets.
Wenger has to go,if it were any other top club in the premier league the manager would of been sacked by now.
Bottom line is they got through three days before a cup final – so it would be a strange time to sack him.
