The bookies have priced this one up and believe it may be a draw meaning both sides go through, which is plausible. However there is a lot of noise about Nuno moving to Arsenal – personally, I can’t see it. Add to the fact it seems every man and his dog, except for me is out in Portugal, with fans buying tickets in the home end. Some estimate around 5-6k Wolves fans could be in the stadium come 17.55 and add to the fact a dominant performance in the return fixture saw Wolves undone by an against the run of play goal will add to the motivation of the travelling Wolves pack.
I think odds of around 11/5 for a Wolves win offers substantial value, especially when you consider they’ve won all their away games in Europe already. Nuno would love the luxury of having the chance to rest a few players in a dead rubber v Besiktas at the start of December and I’m backing our boys to do the business tonight in Portugal.

I disagree entirely with this. Wolves at the moment are performing better than Arsenal. Fosun have already indicated their desire for further investment – potentially going to the stockmarket. Half the lads are Portuguese. Nuno is absolutely loved by the Wolves faithful. Whatever money Arsenal want to tempt Nuno with, Fosun will match it. I’ve got no issues with Nuno moving on but he has on many times highlighted his desire about investing a few more years into this project. He knows another two years in the Wolves job performing in the same vein he knows the likes of Man City will come knocking once Pep’s thrown in the towel. Nuno knows a move to Arsenal at the moment is no better than a sidewards move.
I don’t know how going to Arsenal is a sidewards move,one of the biggest clubs in England,he would probably jump at the chance,there is no loyalty hen it comes to money.I never thought Moyes would leave Everton,but soon as United came calling he was off,it’s a chance Nuno couldn’t refuse imo.

Disagree there. I’d be shocked if Nuno went to arsenal. Nuno has a chance to build something special from scratch at wolves and is ahead of the original plan. Going to Arsenal means an immediate pressure and less scope to change and mould things how he likes to do. He’s not done well in the past in those types of situations. We will lose him eventually and I suspect it will be to manage the national side in Portugal. That’s a good couple of years down the line.
There’s more to the premier league that the old top 5/6.
