IT'S been a good week for goals and hopefully the trend continues at the weekend.
I've picked out my bets bets from Scotland and England and hopefully at least one of them will win.
So let's start in Scotland and I'd have put in Hibs v Celtic in the Betfred Cup semi-final at Hampden but it kicks off at 12.15pm and I don't want the bet going down early.
So I'm going with Hearts v St Johnstone and all that puts me slightly is the fact the game is at Murrayfield while a much tighter Tynecastle nears the completion of a new stand.
The last two meetings at Tynecastle have finished 2-2 and two years ago Hearts won 4-3. Hearts' last four have seen both scoring while Saints' previous four have gone over 2.5 goals so that's an option. Two 3-0 defeats by Rangers and Aberdeen have been setbacks for Tommy Wright's men but Hearts are poorer oppositions and they should hit the target.
Next up it's Dunfermline v Livingston. The Pars have gone off the boil having failed to net against Queen of the South and Falkirk but they were both away and back in front of their home fans they should score. Dunfermline have netted 12 goals in four league games at East End and conceded five while Livi have rattled eight in four on the road.
Complete the treble with Albion Rovers v Queen's Park. Rovers' last five have totalled 28 with four of them seeing both scoring including a 5-4 win at East Fife last week. There have been 15 goals in QP'S previous four and earlier this season Rovers won 5-2 at Hampden.
Now to England – and both to score at Man City v Burnley pays 13-10 at sportingbet but it's a good chance.
Burnley are unbeaten away and that includes trips to Chelsea, Liverpool and Spurs. We know City are flying – 12 goals in their last two home games – but they are capable of conceding as well as last week's 7-2 win against Stoke showed.
Add Barnsley v Hull with both sides in good scoring form. Both have scored in Barnsley's last four and Hull's previous six.
Complete the treble with Bradford v Charlton. Bradford's last three have brought up this market while their visitors have netted in their last five.
