With 20 mins to go on Friday night it looked like job done for St Johnstone at Inverness but Reece McAlear had different ideas.
The young on-loan Norwich striker scored twice in seven minutes to level the scores at 2-2 and set-up a thrilling showdown tonight at McDiarmid Park for a place in the Scottish Premiership next season.
The bookies still make St Johnstone the clear favourites to retain their top flight status at 2/5 but Inverness shouldn't be completely written off at 7/4.
The Saints are 4/5 to win inside the 90 minutes but they only managed five home wins in 19 in the league this season.
Bobby Madden kept his cards in his pocket in the first leg, as he tends to do, with only Glen Middleton picking up a booking but things could be a bit more tetchy tonight with Nick Walsh on the whistle. In Ireland Dundalk look the best bet away to Finn Harps. The hosts have won just two games this season, both against Shelbourne, while Dundalk's recent form is only bettered by league leaders Shamrock Rovers.

ST JOHNSTONE should have killed off the play-off final in Inverness but head into the return with nerves jangling after an epic Caley Thistle comeback.
Backing Saints to win a half instead of the game paid off for me last week as they blew a 2-0 half-time lead to draw 2-2.
That summed up ICT’s spirit but McBookie make them 19/10 outsiders for promotion with the Perth men just 2/5 to stay up.
It’s hard to disagree as Saints looked by far the better team so I like the 20/23 on offer at Coral for a home win inside 90 minutes.
Melker Hallberg got a goal and an assist in the first leg so I’m surprised to see him at 13/2 for anytime scorer with McBookie here. That looks terrific value and I also like the look of the 10/11 on offer at Bet365 for Caley Thistle to pick up most cards.
